Sideboard

Destroy all the lands.

Howling Mine will keep you stocked up on land and spells, while it will force an opponent to draw cards they hopefully won't be able to play. On a successful lock, this plays like any other land destruction deck.

Thundermaw Hellkite is a quick and realistic finisher because the lock won't always hold very well. Vraska the Unseen plays the role of Masticore for a longer game.

The deck's weaknesses are permission and discard. Land destruction is always one for one, so every card has a huge impact.

It's unfortunate the land destruction archetypes will not make it into Modern any time soon. Land destruction needs to be fast to be any good, but conditional counterspells are fast enough to beat it. The next step would be printing conditional land destruction, but nobody wants to play against a two-mana Stone Rain even if there are drawbacks on it.

The finisher for a land destruction deck almost always needs to have removal on a stick in case small creatures make it onto the battlefield. Ancient Hellkite would be ideal, but is too expensive. Falkenrath Exterminator might be good because its damage grows, and it doesn't tap for its ability.
