Green Finally Gets Some Counter Spells!

Chalice of the Void is hangerback walker

Deck Breakdown:

Creatures:

Abzan Beastmaster : Used as a greatly consistant draw spell

Avatar of the Resolute: One of our big beefy creatures. Constantly comes out as a 5/4 or 6/5.

Elvish Mystic : Simple, but much needed ramp due to the 21 lands in the deck.

hangerback walker : A decent body that slowly grows and replaces itself with more creatures.

Reverent Hunter : The biggest creature in the whole deck. He usually hits the board turn 4-5 as a 8/8 creature.

Valeron Wardens : A simple creature that comes out and quickly becomes a huge creature with included card draw.

Honored Hierarch : One of the cards I'm still testing with. He's usually a good mana accelerator however.

Servant of the Scale : A small chump blocker that donates counters it receives via Incremental Growth , Cached Defenses , etc.

Non-Creature Spells:

Cached Defenses : Another card still being tested. The intent is to get it on something like Servant of the Scale or Avatar of the Resolute

Hardened Scales: One of the best cards into the deck. They turn Incremental Growth from 6 +1/+1 counters into 9 +1/+1 counters. They turn Servant of the Scale from a small creature to a one-mana 3/3. An overall amazing card.

Incremental Growth : 6 Distributed +1/+1 counters. What more could you ask for?

Inspiring Call: A way to protect against board wipes and other such removal. It also doubles as a mass draw spell.

Solidarity of Heroes: A way to double the counters on multiple creatures.

The Sideboard:

Ainok Survivalist : Our version of Reclamation Sage that gets a counter.

Den Protector: An Eternal Witness of sorts. Gets back our useful big creature after a wrath or harsh removal spell.

Display of Dominance : For the Esper dragon deck and other control match-ups. An overall useful protection spell that doubles as removal.

Hornet Nest: The one card in the sideboard that might have to go to a 4-of. This is our best answer to RDW which is the most popular standard deck at the moment.

Inspiring Call: More protection if we need it against control.

Life's Legacy : Pure draw power for when we need more steam against decks.

Ranger's Guile: A cheap, effective spell for dodging hard-hitting removal.

Setessan Tactics: A giant fight spell that knocks out a huge board of small to medium ranged creatures.
