So this was my first true EDH deck. It started with Nylea as General but a friend showed me this guy and I ran with it. Been adding to it for about 2 years. Finally taking apart to make an Azusa deck.

The idea is to make a huge green glob of mana then protect Omnath at all costs. Losing the mana pool is the last thing you want. I use Aluren and the likes to recast using the mana sitting there. Or just slap one of the enchantments on that protect him with either shroud or totem armor. The last piece to the puzzle is giving him trample so you can win via commander damage.

This is a pretty simple, straightforward deck that most intermediate players could pull off. I've tried it with elves but an opponent played Linvala and it made for a very boring game. Let me know what you think :)
