Try using two planeswalkers (to increase chance to draw one). And for an Elves deck, the best planeswalker is (in my opinion) Nissa Revane Try using 20 forests instead of 21 and removing all those hydras and wurm, which aren't playable with Nissa Revane 's -7 effect, and replacing them with Elvish Warrior , which is playable by Nissa and adds power and toughness to your Jagged-Scar Archers .
So... I hope it helped. I'm not an Elves expert.

Replace Elvish Warrior with Nissa's Chosen so you can use her first +1 :)

Thanks UmbrotheUmbreon and rolandolisi!
Definitely keep my eyes open for those cards! I've only included cards that I actually have thus far, but I might have to proxy up for some play testing :) So i'll probably edit this to make it what I want it to be, rather than what it is :)

I started doing that so I could keep track of what I have irl, then what I need in order to match the deck online. Make the deck the way you want it to be, then try to get the cards you need to complete it.
As rolandolisi said, Nissa Revane should be the walker in your deck, not Garruk. Nissa is the Elf planeswalker, and would be a lot more beneficial to your deck than Garruk would be.

I suppose its a trade off... Green Sun's Zenith is a definite creature and doesn't thin your deck TOO much...Genisis Wave could potentially bring out a bunch of creatures... BUT... you have to pump a tonne of mana into it, because if x=3 you may just end up throwing 3 lands/instants/sorcerys into the graveyard :/ ... definite thinking point though thanks...

Yeah but in an Elf deck, mana gets out of hand FAST and it is mostly made up of permanents. The Zenith will net you a creature yeah, but going X=10 by turn 4 or 5 is insane.

Good point. I'll give it a try! Dropped the land and removed Plummet for now... added 2x Rancor and Genesis Wave ... Hope the archers can take care of any flying threat or just use fog to save myself

The Giant Growth s seem out of place here, esp with Elvish Archdruid in the deck. I'd drop those for 2x Genesis Wave s and 2 Joraga Warcaller s.

Copperhorn Scout can make a big difference, especially with the tap ability elves.

If you can, swap out Elvish Champion for Imperious Perfect . The only reason I would keep the Elvish Champion in the main board is if i was playing a deck that ran forests; otherwise, Imperious Perfect does the same thing, but has the ability to produce 1/1 elves repeatedly. Also, I would add +2 forests, +2 Ezuri, Renegade Leader and -4 Rampant Growth . Reason: You already have a vast number of many producing elves. You should have no problem with 20 forests! Plus, Ezuri, Renegade Leader makes for a beast 3 drop. His Overrun ability wins games and his regeneration ability keeps important elves alive. Hope this helps. +1 for me!

Thanks KongaDonga I'll try it without the Rampant Growth s I did mention to my friends I don't think I'd need them and they gave me an odd look! Might have to proxy this bad boy up with the pieces I don't have... I mainly have the Elvish Champion in there because I happen to have 2 of them and I haven't got any Imperious Perfect

Copperhorn Scout is an often overlooked elf. It's awesome because it can untap your attackers if you declare attackers in the right order, or you can tap for mana during main phase 1, attack, untap everything, then have mana for main phase 2 if need be. It also works well with Immaculate Magistrate .

I'd consider adding 2 more Elvish Visionary and cutting 2 Nissa's Chosen , or maybe one Visionary and one Warcaller. The chosen are great, but the cantrip on the visionary is probably more valuable. From my experience you have so many elves running around that Nissa can just gain you massive amounts of life instead.
Also, maybe consider 2 Genesis Wave s instead of the two Green Sun's Zenith ? I see you have them in your maybeboard already. I guess the Zenith gets you what you want AND is reusable vs flopping a whole bunch of permanents on the battlefield randomly. shrug couldn't say which is better I guess.

MindAblaze! - I see what your ssaying with the chosen, they are good but probably not 4x good, Nissa can just be used to gain me life if I don't need to find more elves and better effects can take their place... Thanks!
Had that dilemma with Genisis Wave, I'd prefer not to throw half my deck down the drain but I can see how it could win a game.

Yeah, you do have 54 permanents in this deck so you'd usually come out on top after a big Genesis Wave . I know I love it in my elf deck Nissa's Chosen

MindAblaze! oop. you've caught me out here! I thought it was just creatures not ALL permanents! haha, my bad! I do think more highly of Genisis Wave now... But I do already have a Green Sun's Zenith which is why it's more easily included for me ;)

Have you considered Elvish Guidance ? It kinda turns a regular land into a Priest of Titania which is all the better when you untap them with Arbor Elf (who is for this reason much better than Elvish Mystic )
Yes it's a Elvish Archdruid that doesn't give your elves +1/+1, and isn't an elf.
But it is a land, and as such is harder to get rid of, and usually stays around if someone field-wipes...
Also, if your opponents don't run green very often perhaps try Verdant Succession , it's costly, but it can piss someone off really badly.
January 10, 2014 2:34 p.m.
Have you considered switching Rancor
for Nissa's Chosen
? If you're playing with Nissa Revane
, it is always worth having a playset of them.
Rhys the Redeemed
also seems a nice option for you, since it seems you like to play with tokens. And who's better than Rhys for that?
Last, I see you have Genesis Wave
in your maybeboard... Trust me, with your mana ramp you will definitely want, at least, one of those. It really speeds up your deck.
Try and playtest your deck against mine:

Mainboard you definitely want 4xNettle Sentinel , 4xHeritage Druid , and 4xLead the Stampede . I would think about adding Elvish Champion , Bramblewood Paragon , Cavern of Souls , Ezuri, Renegade Leader , and Essence Warden . For sideboard I would think about adding Nature's Claim , Beast Within , Dismember , Wrap in Vigor .

I see you don't have Elvish Archdruid or Elvish Promenade . Both are amazing in an elf deck. I'd definitely try to get a hold of three copies of Elvish Archdruid . Mass mana and elf lord all in one.
