This looks very similar to my Nissa deck!Nissa's Lands Mine's definitely a combo deck, and you've definitely got me beat on budget, but I think you might be able to grab some good ideas from her! I've always loved mono-green, and you've got my +1

why does everyone spam snow covered lands in their EDH decks?

A few reasons. One of which is they look nice.

Second, if keeps opponents from benefiting from your Extraplanar Lens if they aren't also using Snow lands.

Third, effects from Scrying Sheets, Mouth of Ronom and any other card that requires snow mana.

Hall of Gemstone stops counterspells, can turn off multi-colored decks and doesn't hurt you a bit. Kinda mean tho.

This is the first deck I have seen using a flip walker as the commander, and this Nissa has saved my ass a bunch so I love her lol. Some suggestions I have are Abundance, Defense of the Heart, Zendikar Resurgent, Asceticism, Courser of Kruphix,Eldritch Evolution. I feel some of these would be awesome for this deck for protection and speed!
