An updated version of a budget Green-Red Tron deck from my previous account, LandCracker616.
The deck is built with most traditional Tron pieces: Ancient Stirrings, Sylvan Scrying, Chromatic Sphere, etc etc. I'm sure you are not reading this to see why it's like every other Tron deck. So, here's what makes the deck so unique.
I included some colorless creatures that are pack-a-punch despite the low price tag. Myr Battlesphere helps quickly build a board presence and chump blockers, plus overtime casting more Battlespheres means we can sneak in more damage. Stonecoil Serpent comes with built in multi-colored protection and can help block more evasive creatures. Plus, it is a great card to play at any point of the game: early on for quick damage or later on for a larger beast. Hexdrinker is a good include as well, featuring built in protection and being able to quickly level-up in this deck.
You might be scratching your head and wondering why I am splashing in a single mountain. Part of the reason is so we can use Kessig Wolf Run to convert unused mana into combat damage if we have no other cards to play. It also is for our sideboard cards Crumble to Dust and Kozilek's Return. Our side board also contains Vexing Shusher to help keep counter spells in check.
I'm sure you have one more question, "Why do you have snow lands? Won't normal basics work as well?". I totally agree, but I have this deck in House Stark sleeves. [Insert Game of Thrones comment here.]
