This deck is designed to stomp on your opponent with low-cost but soon powerful creatures thanks to counter placement/movement and Hardened Scales

Philosophy:

This deck relies on placing a large amount of +1/+1 Counters. An ideal game will see an early placement of Hardened Scales followed by Servant of the Scales to get the counters rolling. Managorger Hydra should be played either early to start building up or first on a turn that will involve a couple of low cost spells. Hangarback Walker comes in and should be pumped as often as possible to create an opportunity for more Thopter Tokens in the middle of the game. It is a good idea to keep Feat of Resistance in hand with sufficient mana untapped when possible, especially when you know your opponent has the ability to exile Hangarback (undoing all the work you've put into it). Avatar of the Resolute goes in as a low-cost bomb when you have several other creatures with counters on them. Undergrowth Champion is a great card to keep on swinging with, especially against a red/burn deck because they have no good answers for him. Endless One is a great variable card. He will be useful at any point in a match, and even more so if you have a couple Hardened Scales out. Wear your opponent down with Avatar and Managorger's trample and let Enless One and Undergrowth Champion take blows as, odds are, they will be big and walk right through them. They will also provide good protection while using your Trample to overrun the opponent.
