meddler91 I ask bc I've pretty much got your same deck list except my Dragonslayer is 2 copies of Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip and it works really well protecting creatures or controlling theirs. I'm also 1 less of Den Protector.

syandell86 Hidden Dragonslayer seems to work well for me right now. I am usually able to flip him and most people expect the morph to be Den Protector so it actually often throws them off. I don't know how I feel about Kytheon, Hero of Akros  Flip.. I might give him a shot if you say he works well for you.

meddler91 I never 0 him. I use him only for the protection or control.

I'll straight up be adding the 4 Canopy and from 2-4 of the Retreat to Kazandu. It's only a 3 drop so it's not terribly expensive.

If there's a way I end up going mono-green, I might play Oran-Rief, but if I stay with Falconer and keep white, I won't.

I think that Favored Hoplite would be a better option than Servant of the Scale

I am only playing post rotation cards so I am sticking with Servant of the Scale.

Plus with servant e works better then hardened scales, wen he does and counter moves hardened scales triggers an also wen he comes into play he's essentially a 2/2 for 1 when he does he gives his stats to another creature

I second that opinion of using Servant of the Scale. He is a solid creature to drop anytime and he can even get out of control. I had ran Favored Hoplite since Dragons of tarkir release but it feels as if servant gives more where as hoplite you have to put into him. Dromoka's Command with a hoplite was really fun to knock out creatures

I also have Assault Formation in my deck so I can pump up the creatures really high with the help of Hardened Scales.

if u want to put some more cash to invest this deck i think you should buy Collected Company (u won't be to put only Hangarback Walker from this spell) and Ajani Steadfast

Hey, this is a great looking deck, I am halfway to building same concept, but i cant help but wonder where is your Inspiring Call ? seems perfect here, although maybe only as sideboard, I havent noticed an absolute ton of board wipe at least in my meta so maybe feat of resistance is a better choice.. Still though, green instant speed card draw and protection is great card advantage. What r ur thoughts?

hesuskrist The issue I found (I have one in the SB of my deck) with Inspiring Call is the cost. I can get indestructible on one creature with things that cost less. It's a luck of the draw to have multiple creatures on the board when you have 3 open mana AND need to give them all indestructible. I love the card, but idk. I don't see it as more than a SB card against board wipe cards.

I've built a similar deck to this it's just that te premium boardwipe ATM is languish which this does nothing too and u would only run this for the anti board wipe potential, great card to refill your hand but you'd rather feat because it can also stop ur creature from being blocked from certain creatures maybe post rotation it could find a place but ATM it's just not relevant enough

She doesn't work well with the green 1 drops.

I have experimented with Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit and she didn't work in my deck. Inspiring Call and Collected Company are both a little too high mana cost for this deck. Trying to keep it quick.

I'm in the fence with anafenza , I run two only and she most likely comes out on turn 5. I would prefer her to drop on two but I do have other cards to worry about first such as Hardened Scales or evenServant of the Scale. But when you have a hardened out along with a Managorger Hydra and drop Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit then a Warden of the First Tree and a Servant of the Scale the bolster goes insane as does managorger

I also run with Hallowed Moonlight in the sideboard against cards like Hordeling Outburst or Dragon Fodder, etc..

I know it's somewhat expensive, but what about 2 copies of Citadel Siege in the main? It'd allow some inevitability and combos well with hardened scales. Also, how about Seeker of the Way? I can imagine buffing it early with Feat of Resistance and Hardened Scales and attacking with a 5/5 or even 6/6 lifelinker on turn 3...

Crashed by a UB Control deck on Magic Online last night. When Ugin comes into play it doesn't matter how much your creatures are strong :-)
