First off i have wanted to see a good EDH deck made with Anafenza. Props! Secondly try running Bow of Nylea, its a little slow for the counters but it has way too much utility to not be used. Also a creature you might enjoy would be Mycoloth put some counters on this beast and unlease a HORDE!!!! You might consider running Mikaeus, the Unhallowed he give your stuff undying which they come back to life with a +1/+1 counter if they didn't already have one. Also Ghave, Guru of Spores wouldn't be terrible to transfer counters or take some off if need be! Also you can not forget Archangel of Thune she would help a lot.
+1 from me, let me know what you think of my deck, any suggestions are welcome! My Hand got stuck in the cookie jar - help wanted!

Triumph of the Hordes makes for a great alternate win con. If you want, infect in general might make for a decent addition to the deck such as Phyrexian Swarmlord, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Phyrexian Hydra, and Blightsteel Colossus. Putting plus +1/+1 counters on these guys helps to make them especially potent and opens up a proliferate strategy through means such as Contagion Engine which in turn increases your basic strategy. Grafted Exoskeleton can be used to turn any of your normal threats like the hydras into incredibly potent monsters. Primordial Hydra is just plain stupid in any deck that runs even the slightest amount of ramp. Vampiric Tutor and Demonic Tutor can help increase consistency and is better than any card that you honestly only need one of like Overwhelming Stampede win con type cards.

Why no Doubling Season? It's +1/+1 counters Funtime!

Wow...i totally forgot to suggest Doubling Season, which is a super good card. AntiShisno just FYI, if you didn't already know, Doubling Season counts for all permanents, so his Ajani, Mentor of Heroes enters with double the counters if i'm not mistaken and gets +2 instead of +1 whenever he uses his ability. This also makes cards like, Ghave, Guru of Spores enter with 10 +1/+1 counters and so on. I can totally see a Doubling Season in here.

AntiShisno and jaeger_Konig you're absolutely right, it desperately needs a Doubling Season. Entirely a budgetary restraint at the moment. It'll be my next investment :)
Thanks for all the suggestions dagan94! My playgroup generally avoids infect as a mutually disliked mechanic so I'll probably pass on those options. But Contagion Engine's double proliferate, yes!! And I agree, I need another one or two good tutors, then I can take out the redundant Overrun.

Warning: bad combo, but Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Mikaeus, the Lunarch + haste enabler (e.g. Lightning Greaves, Concordant Crossroads) = infinite +1/+1 counters on all of your creatures (other than the white mikaeus)

Grave Betrayal will not work as long as Anafenza, the Foremost is in play; as creatures don't die as she is in play, but are exiled instead. Otherwise, props on an anafenza deck.

This deck looks awesome! I have wanted to make an Anafenza deck and this looks like it is worth taking for a spin. I will let you know how it turns out.

Any thoughts on new additions from Oath of the Gatewatch? Gladehart Cavalry looks promising!

Yes jimpact! Definitely giving Gladehart Cavalry a try along with Nissa, Voice of Zendikar (since I happened to pull her in a pack).
The only other card that drew my attention from Oath was Shoulder to Shoulder, but it just isn't strong enough.

Hi, very nice deck, +1!
I have a similar deck too, so I wanted to ask you on how consistent is your strategy, since that is a problem my deck has. I feel like my deck is split between the Meren nontoken strategy and the Ghave token strategy, both playing well with counters. So how consistently are you winning using small tokens that get beefed up really quickly?

Kalonian Hydra would probably have some great/scary symmetry in here - If you have any of the counter doubling chants out, the mind boggles. For additional land tutor + deck thinning, Realm Seekers could be decent too.
