Femme_Fatale My bad. I forgot to add in Squirrel Nest.

and Earthcraft is on my wish list for this deck. However, Due to the price of the card.I won't be buying it. Until after the deck is complete. Its awesome card. That has a place in this deck without question. assuming I can get one.

Definitely Drift of Phantasms to transmute for your Squirrel Nest. Also, Primal Vigor fits with your group hug theme and allows for another enchantment that can double tokens. There is of course Doubling Season also but it seems that would be out of your price range a bit. Druid's Deliverance is another perfect damage prevention with an added token generation. Nut Collector is another squirrel spawner. Although he has a slightly higher mana cost, you should be able to reach it easily if you're trying to divert attention from you with group hug techniques. Also, you should use Crookclaw Transmuter to transmute for your win con Epic Struggle.

@DreadnoughtMTG Yeah, this deck is a work in Progress. without question. On front I need to finish it. So, I can hurry up and play it. On another. It's building a wish list of cards like Doubling Season, and Earthcraft and maybeArgothian Enchantress that are just bagging to be put in. But, until the deck is finish. Its going on budget of no more then $5 dollars per-card.

I overshot that a bit.when I order Primal Vigor. At the same time I do consider it a key card. However, its not in deck yet. Because am still waiting on the mail. Same with Nut Collector. If there are room for more Creatures. Which there most likely will be. I'll be adding Drift of Phantasms into the mix.

and Druid's Deliverance is another good idea. However, am not sure where to cap the amount of damage prevention cards in this deck. Being a defender, that turns aggressive isn't a easy build.and I think, you might have misread Epic Struggle. It has nothing to do with a Creature's power or toughness. But, with the amount of Creatures under your control. So, 20 Squirrels=win.

But, I will most likely be using all of your Suggestions. Outside of Crookclaw Transmuter. If I was to go that way. I would go with Twisted Image. and get some card draw out of the deal.

Yeah, that wasn't the card I actually wanted to suggest. I thought that was the name of the 4 cost transmute card so you could search for Epic Struggle. I knew that it was a win at 20 creatures but you'll have to find and play the card in order to win with it. Unfortunately, the 4 cost transmute cards are UB or just B so you cant use them. Instead, you should use another search type card like maybe Library of Lat-Nam? Or possibly Long-Term Plans? Or Mangara's Tome or Parallel Thoughts or Ring of Three Wishes or Planar Portal. Noble Benefactor might be the best option to fit your theme.

DreadnoughtMTG Sorry about that.I thought you miss read something. It may sound funny. However, Epic Struggle would be the last card I would want to search for. Yes, its win condition. and kinda of cheap one at that. However, if am up against a mill or low on life. It could be my a ace in hole. Otherwise, I just rater enjoy the game with this deck and see how things play out.

Femme_Fatale suggest some of same cards.I like the idea of Ring of Three Wishes and Planar Portal. I also kinda like the idea of Noble Benefactor. Yet, am uncertain about the card. Sense I want this to be enchantment deck. However, if the deck isnt enchantment heavy or creatures count is odd. Thank you, friend with only single deck with Possibility Storm. Ill be putting the Noble in.

I can see him working out well as blocker. However, I can see my friends targeting me because of him. That could also work in my favorite.I might just have to run him in a game or two for the sure result of watching things unfold.

You can still Search for creatures and keep your blue I think. Momir Vig, Simic Visionary, the now banned in modern Birthing Pod could also help but I wouldn't go out and buy it right now, mainly because it's price is slowly and steadily dropping, cards that give you drawing power, I think that this is a great deck :) I love squirrels!

Thank you, FatherLiir.I like your idea of Momir Vig, Simic Visionary. However, I dont know if I would use him as a Creature or General in this deck. I would like his price to drop a bit. Before getting him. I would also want to see my groups reaction to Edric first.

Unless, am misunderstanding the card. I could get Birthing Pod to work really well with Liege of the Hollows and Noble Benefactor. However, This deck needs creatures for blocking, buffing and untapping. So, I would rater go with something like Chord of Calling.

An do you think I should go down to 36 mana? I play test this deck. And seem like I always more then enough mana. So, am wondering if I should keep the extra mana or go down to 36 and add 2 more cards into the deck?

Mana wise, I've always been told 32-37 lands is about what you want in an average EDH deck. I have a friend who plays 29 and then just ramps with a metric assload of elves, I think for your purposes you could safely cut back to 35 forests and would be fine

Yeah, This is my first deck with this kind of Ramp. So, am not use to it yet.

So, Thank you for sharing the info .I think Ill play it safe and go down to 36 mana for the time being. And see how plays. Before taking more out or stating put.

This actually looks like a really interesting deck, not full on group hug, just enough diplomacy to direct attacks to other people

Yeah, I wanted to create a new type of hug deck. and This is what I come with. I can't wait to play it.

and while I will be moving Alchemist's Refuge & Rainbow Vale into main deck. and adding in Hypergenesis. For a little more of hug effect. Its kinda of at point where I would like keep it. There are one or two cards. I would switch-out like though. like Krosan Restorer.

Have you thought of using Telepathy? I don't know how it would work in a deck, either people would hate you or they would turn on each other because of insane hands, but I've always wanted to try it

Yeah, I thought about it. I even had Telepathy pulled really for the deck. But, it just kept getting push back behind other Enchantments. Which had a stronger place in the deck. So, I never really decided on it. and by the time I was ready add in the deck had run out of room.

However, I have play with Telepathy in the past. And seems to piss off blue players the most. Some times green. Basically, players with hidden tactics. The rest of the players arent exactly happy about it. But, they quickly get over it. Regardless, the card dose get you noticed on broad. Which work against my strategy here. I want to be the unseen friend. Until, I can unleash the Squirrels into play.

However, I will probably add in Telepathy. If my play group force me to be more aggressive with deck. am also planing on pulling Eyes of the Watcher and putting into the sideboard. Am doing this. So, I can even out the number of Enchantments. And I wont always feel like using Epic Struggle. So, I want some good Enchantments switch between. Plus, my card draw is sooo good. I havent really needed Eyes of the Watcher. I think Ill add in a Telepathy into sideboard as well.
