Step 1- cast grenzo for 4 and activate. Step 2- pull from the bottom til you run out of stuff. 3- ??? 4- profit!

revised on 10/31/2019 still running this deck and loving it. has gone through many incarnations, now plays much more as a combo deck with grenzo as an insane draw/ value engine. in addition to potentially infinite life, damage, and haste creatures, the deck can infinite exile decks with Gonti. i've played this commander for years now, and its still fun and fresh.

cards to look for: Altars, thermopod, Demonic Tutor, fast mana, pitiless plunderer, illusionist's bracers, purphuros, impact tremors, balthor.

Other versions of this deck include "Nekrataal tribal" and dedicated Goblins builds, both working quite well. you can grenzo effectively on 3 as well, especially for goblin tribal, but losing Flayer of the Hatebound, Sidisi, Sifter of Skulls, Neheb, and Thermopod all hurt alot, and your grenzo activations getting you these beefy cards really makes that 2 mana go even further beyond. grenzo on 2 is less appealing than Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, and at 5+ you are competing with a slew of highly impactful Large Rakdos DudesTM. i feel 4 is the optimal build for a non- goblin version.
