Greven Predator Captain EDH deck. This deck is a voltron style deck all around paying life and pumping up greven.

Blood for Blood

The main focus of the deck is using your life as a resource once greven is out to capitalize off of his boost in power and card draw. Here are some key components to use our life and make a threat of our commander.

• Moltensteel Dragon
• Immolating Souleater

The most notable of these cards is Hatred. When you pay X life you will receive double the power due to greven's ability and be able to pump up Greven for essentially half the life. Necropotence is a power house in this deck being able to sink as much life as you want into it and constantly getting cards and boosting greven. Another honorable mention is K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth being able to spend 2 life in place of any black mana is huge.

In case we aren't able to get out any life sink permanents we need to have troops willing to die for our captain. Many of the creatures in this deck are in here for the sole purpose of being sac'd to greven

Many of these creatures are low cost cmc and have high power but bad payoff for keeping them on the field so its essential we save these for when Greven is out and ready to swing. Anger is a high priority so that we can have Greven come back with haste in case he is removed.

We need more fuel

Life is the fuel of this ship and if we aren't careful we can deplete it faster than we know. To recoup for this loss we have some lifelink and life gain cards to help us get back in the fight.
