I started off making this an aggro deck, but it has turned into control. It's the only way I can match the top Tiny Leaders decks on this site. I'm slightly disappointed as I don't really like playing control, but I guess you have to do what works.

Key Ideas

1. Resurrect Creatures through the abilities of Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, Chandra's Phoenix, Volrath's Stronghold, and Reconnaissance

2. Creatures who generate tokens

3. Direct damage when Creatures are brought into play, or Instants and Sorceries are cast

4. Artifacts that buff Creatures

5. An abundance of spot removal in the Mainboard and board wipes in the Sideboard

6. Destruction of Opponent Enchantments

7. Some life gain and card draw

Suggestions are welcome, but please let me know the rationale behind them, and what cards you would take out to accommodate them.

My biggest problem was this deck: Bonsai: Doran the tiny tree leader!

After trying many different strategies I'm now going with the simple one of destroying the Commander before combat damage is assigned. This takes the bite out of the attack, and makes the Commander increasingly expensive to cast.

Additional destruction has served to strengthen the deck overall, and it works against a variety of Opponents.
