If a creature board wipe goes off while Blood Artist is out, there's a good chance it will win you the game. A lot of people run Blood Artist and do their own wipe with Killing Wave. Plus Alesha can bring Artist back; the ring, not so much.

I've abandoned both Prism Ring and Blood Artist.

I have other ways of gaining life and dealing direct damage. Making these things a priority was weakening the deck too much in other areas.

paloflimdul, Mandalorian, clayperce, MoJoMiXuP, and NoSoyYucateco, I hope you folks don't mind me tagging you.

I used all your suggestions to improve this deck and, after some deep thinking and testing, I think it's actually working really well now.

Just wanted to thank you for all your help.

This seems really well tuned. You have a TON of target effects, do you not run up against a lot of protection/hexproof?
I would expect to see a mix of sacrifice effects like Wing Shards in order to cover a wider swath (or Arcane Lighthouse / Glaring Spotlight)

Other thoughts:
Chandra's Spitfire + Raid Bombardment seems like a solid win combo given your build
Anathemancer - probably a sideboard card, but adds a lot of reach with Alesha

Top Pick - Reconnaissance - so much synergy with Alesha + pseudo-vigilance + attack with everything and never lose an attacking creature, etc..

shaistyone I take your point about Hexproof Creatures and have added a couple of Sac cards to the mix.

I like Celestial Flare a lot and can't believe I forgot it.

I do have other ways to deal with Hexproof Creatures.

I have a lot of board wipe in the Sideboard and I have ways in the Mainboard of getting rid of Enchantments that are making Creatures Hexproof.

Since I have no tutors I'm trying to steer clear of specfic two or three card combos. I'm also trying to keep Black cards to a minimum as I only have a splash of that in the mana base.

Reconnaissance is an interesting idea and I have a spare copy of that card. What would you take out for it, though?

I'm not having a huge problem attacking with my Creatures as most of theirs are usually dead by the time I do. lol

I knew someone would think of THAT Grimace.

We call it Maccas in Australia.

What about trying a little bit more control-ish move with Fulminator Mage?

blow up land, reanimate and blow up another one. Repeat. Profit :)

MattDovah can I sac the Fulminator Mage as soon as Alesha returns it to the field?

If so, I'm interested.

It might be best in my Sideboard. I have other Creatures to prioritise in my Mainboard.

Of course you can, it doesn't need to be tapped to activate the effect, so you can as soon as it comes back into play ;)

I've been playtesting against this build that has lots of Hexproof and Unblockable Creatures.

They better call the Ghostbusters!

I've found that I can just outrace it, meaning the Opponent eventually has to block with their Creatures, and lose them.

Stuff like Earthquake also helps.

shaistyone I finally worked out what to remove for Reconnaissance and it was Athreos, God of Passage because it just wasn't as effective as I thought it would be.

Having tried to build an Alesha I've got some suggestions you might have missed from the only splashing for black. Zealous Persecution is pretty cheap, and also Sin Collector works well against either a mirror match or also something like a Shu Yun deck. Now I would reference a specific card deck that somebody put on Tapped out but it doesn't seem to exist anymore so idk what's up with that.

TheRedGoat maybe they deleted the deck, or made it private.

Zealous Persecution is better than Loss, so good call on that one.

Not keen on that Creature, but will keep it in mind..

@Argeaux Your welcome for the advice! I've actually got a B/U/G deck currently on Tapped out but idk what to do with it really as my card choices are very limited. Unless I was to give up originality and just play it to combo. As a thought to give me some direction, what is it that your own deck has trouble against most? Perhaps I can try to build mine to specifically not have the same weakness(es) and go from there?

Nice synergy, bud. +1

You ever consider Norin the Wary or Pandemonium? Oh and I would think Karmic Guide is a must. Not sure if it fits completely in your synergy though.

If you have the time, please check my Alesha out and suggest away. Thanks!

mistertateam, this is a Tiny Leaders deck. No cards over CMC 3.

mistertateam says... #22

Eh, my bad! hah overlooked it :) Good synergy still. Thanks!!

Argy says... #23

mistertateam I don't need Norin because I have Reconnaissance.

He would just take up the space of a better Creature spell.

That 3 CMC rule can be tricky to keep in mind.
