Lots of removal like Hero's Downfall , Doomblade, Ultimate Price and Go for the Throat would be good. Also consider adding reanimator effects like Reanimate Dead, Disentomb , Rescue from the Underworld and Rise from the Grave .

I hope this helps you.

Coat of Arms is a must in ANY tribal deck. Zombeh's included

Grave Titan While not a Zombeh by any means sure is a beast when it comes to them tokens.

Vengeful Pharaoh DEATH TOUCH FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE!!!! Nuff said.

Ghoulraiser Because YES to rebirth! Speaking of rebirth, Vile Rebirth is epic 1 dropOTHER THAN THAT

You are running blue homey, run some draw mechanics. If you can pick up any of the other Liliana's that were printed that may help, may not.

First off good job rockin the Griffin he rocks. So you like a lot of death? How about my good friend Tenacious Dead and his older brother Reassembling Skeleton . Mikaeus, the Unhallowed would also be a party animal. Maybe Lich Lord of Unx ?

I meant grimgrin not Griffin.

wow, that was a lot of suggestions after I went to sleep! Let's see...

awesomeguy37, yeah I completely forgot about putting my removal in here, but I completely forgot Go for the Throat , and those reanimator spells are just what I needed, thanks!

MythrilJenova, yes to all. Thank you very much. I overlooked Ghoulraiser and Vile Rebirth while going through my collection. And some draw...I'll look for suitable blue cards for that, good idea. (and I love me some Liliana's...)

zzzzsman, sweet typo, bro. And I didn't initially include the skeletons because they weren't zombies, but on 2nd thought...they're more than annoying enough to go in this deck. Otherwise I need to acquire a Mikaeus and I never knew that Lich Lord existed. Cheers!

Ok...looks like card draw is what I primarily need now...anyone have any ideas how to make use of this blue I have here?

Mind Unbound could be fun . Distant Melody could be an interesting option. Reprocess is a unique draw spell. But I am a huge fan of Greed and Necropotence . These are a few things off the top of ny head.

Living Death seems like a blast since your deck seems to like sacing creatures.

Oh damn. nice one. quick question, in a case such as Skaab Ruinator , if the he's returned from the graveyard by another card's effects, like Rescue from the Underworld , it's not being cast, so I wouldn't have to exile 3 creatures from my graveyard, correct? just want that clarified. if my interpretation is right, he'll stay in.

also, any beneficial lands to consider?

Darkslick Shores and Nephalia Drownyard seem like some cool lands for this deck.

OMG so I played 6 way EDH two nights ago and one dude was running a version of this deck and I FINALLY got to see Grimgrin in all of his glory. Welp. I won the game but it took me going into infinite sliver tokens with End of Evolution (Sliver EDH) to do it. SUCH a fun deck to play against!

I don't care for some of your creature choices: Maalfeld Twins , Skaab Ruinator , Unbreathing Horde , Havengul Runebinder , Geralf's Mindcrusher , Geralf's Messenger , Butcher Ghoul . Some of these cards simply do not do enough or are too weak, or have no evasion, or are mill effects. I could approve of mill effects if you ran reanimation such as Reanimate , Animate Dead , Zombify , etc.

Creatures that are very good that you are lacking: Vengeful Dead , Withered Wretch , Coffin Queen , Undead Warchief , and Noxious Ghoul .

Another issue is your removal. You don't seem able to win an attrition war with something like Fleshbag Marauder on Mimic Vat , or Grave Betrayal or Call to the Grave . All of which are fantastic cards. But you do have several pieces of single target creature removal, however these spells are selective on target abilities. I would rather have wraths like Damnation or Decree of Pain or Plague Wind , or blue bounce effects like Cyclonic Rift or Cryptic Command or Capsize . Even blue has some good spot creature removal with Pongify and Rapid Hybridization . In terms of hitting artifacts and enchantments you are going to have a hard time, with UB, so Nevinyrral's Disk and Oblivion Stone are probably your best bets.

Lastly, you have the best options to draw cards but you aren't running (in my opinion) good options. Fact or Fiction , Phyrexian Arena , Necropotence , Consecrated Sphinx , Promise of Power , Rhystic Study , Graveborn Muse all come to mind.

Other than that it's a nice deck. Cloudstone Curio is very often used with Rooftop Storm for infinite zombie ETB effects.

elitestgen, those appear to be some magnificent suggestions, thank you :)

first off, the twins, ruinator, horde stay. The others I'm more lenient on. I can also throw out the Doom Blade , Ultimate Price , and Undying Evil ...

I'm too lazy to type out why I'm gonna throw in, but you can read the maybeboard if you want a followup lol.. I really appreciate the input.

Another great zombie to add here is Havengul Lich to cast Grey merchant from your graveyard, sac to Grimgrin, then cast again. If you have Rooftop Storm out, you can also cast all of your zombies from your graveyard for one colorless.

Also, a lot of people are talking about removal--for Grimgrin, I'm particularly a fan of running spells that make people sacrifice instead of destroy, since your general will take care of most of the destruction. Things like Tribute to Hunger , Twisted Justice and Far / Away can help Grimgrin get around those pesky indestructible/hexproof guys once you've blown up all their other creatures with Grimgrin.

Hope you have fun with this deck--tribal zombies can be insanely fun. Feel free to check out my decklist for other ideas if you like.

I wouldn't play Mind Unbound . Since you've got no real way to get rid of it it WILL kill you. And it will pretty fast.

I've worked on a zombie deck too. Maybe you can find some ideas in it: Zombie apocalypse

It works pretty well.

I like the way your deck goes: +1 seems to be pretty solid.

I hope this helped. Greets MA.

Tanks for the advice, man. I was a little trepidatious about Mind Unbound , but seeing as it's a 99 card deck, it might've worked better than normal, but I realize there are more reliable means of card draw...it's also up there on the mana curve. I'll swap it

Really cool. Not too cheap but good enough to hold its own. Very fun and synergetic. +1
