I like what you have done with your defender style here. I personally have been working on a Selesnya token deck and have been using Axebane to keep my mana base versatile while still keeping my walls in check. However, after the pre-release of Gatecrash I have been considering converting my deck more or less to be more competitive since I cant seem to keep the deck moving at all. I am going to use your deck as a reference for mine.

Also looking at your maybe board, I would take at least 2 Undead Alchemist and swap them in with something along with Grimoire of the Dead. If played correctly, I believe you could have a lot of zombies ready to deal damage and then mill them out before they could play. I'm not much of a great deck builder but you should play test it against some decks that usually see more play than this deck. +1 for you

@masonimal Thanks for the advice. I was originally looking at adding Grimoire of the Dead for protection against board wipe. Looking at it, I think that I can probably afford to lose a couple of my creatures for the Undead Alchemist , and sideboard the Grimoire of the Dead for situational protection.

i like the possible infinite mana with Axebane Guardian and Galvanic Alchemist . You then use it to cast everything!
