I like the deck but i would make a few changes.

Id trade out Fated Conflagration for a 3rd Dig Through Time. This'll bump up your card draw engine slightly and also add more high CMC cards to hit with Riddle of Lightning.

Move Erebos to the sideboard because he doesn't do much for you in a game 1 situation (unless your meta is full of Abzan and lifegain strategies) where as another Narset or Even a Prognostic Sphinx. Sphinx will allow you set up your Riddle of Lightning better as well.

Id suggest switching Anger of the Gods for End Hostilities or Crux of Fate. The boardwipe is nice and will keep the board clear more reliably than Anger would in most cases.

I don't know how i feel about the deck without mainboard counter magic. 1 or 2 mindswipe should work nicely and allow for some extra damage. (Mindswipe can also be a game ender if played correctly.) Personally I prefer dissolve but in this kind of build it'd really only be useful in a control matchup.

Overall most of my suggestions are personal preference but all around I love the deck +1

So far as my experience goes, this deck draws cards like crazy. Idk if dig through time is where I really want to be, but idk what I would bring in instead of it. The conflagration was for mainboard answers to planeswalkers/ x/5 creatures, which are hard for me to deal with otherwise. Is there anything else you can think of that might be better? It was a stoke the flames, originally. I'm also concerned with having too many high cmc cards in the deck. I draw at least 1 in my opening hand, typically. Sometimes two or more. I like the sphinx idea, and may trade it out for erebos, but I would have to move the sideboard around for it as well, since I would like access to 2 copies after sideboard. Anger is only in there for playing against really aggressive strategies like monored. It's a better answer than end hostilities for those decks. also, are you suggesting to swap them completely? I have 2 end hostilities in the board, so I do have access to that, if needed. Maybe play a split of the two in the main? Any thoughts on that would be appreciated. I really do want to play up to 4 of each negate/disdainful stroke but I just don't know what to take out for them. There are so many options for the sideboard in this deck lol. I appreciate the praise and suggestions/thoughts, and the +1! Thank you!

Id go 2 Anger 2 End Hostilities in main and board 2 of each. That way you can guarantee you have the card you need after side board.

With your setup being a burn strategy i wouldnt worry much about 4 of counter spells. If you feel like you're in need of the counter magic in the main board then dissolve is probably your best bet.

Im putting together my version of this list and ill post how it went either tomorrow or later tonight. Soooo looking forward to it.

Well, first and foremost, I appreciate your enthusiasm about the list! But, I think what I'm going to do is play it as is a few times (haven't had an opportunity to truly playtest it yet), and see what it needs. I know 2 of each main with 2 of each in the board is a pretty common strategy, so I feel like it's probably where I'll want to take it if I do need more board wipes, but I only own 2 end hostilities currently, so I'll have to get my hands on 2 more if that's what needs to happen. I do like the 2 mindswipes in the board, so thank you for the suggestion. I feel like banishing light is probably going to be a slower reaction to the same cards I would want to counter, so just have the two swipes seems good, and can close out the game as you mentioned. Let me know how your building/testing works out! I really think this is a fun list with potential, so I'm excited to see what it can do as well. Good luck!

+1, same colour choice though different deck type. mine does for the midrangey sort of direction. Playtesting the 2 decks, i feel that my one gets a faster start up but if you did manage to draw the right hand then it would be in your favour. Here's my deck if you want to have a look :D

Well, I do enjoy your deck. I think I'm going to stay on the, essentially, creatureless plan just so people draw a bunch of useless cards, as so many decks are running huge amounts of removal. I think it would be cool to build yours and see where it goes. I may do so and see where it takes me. +1 to you too :)

+1 good sir. Everytime I play test your deck, it seems so much fun. I'm currently running a Jesper Token deck. Where I play FNM at, there isn't too many people who play control. I was thinking about building your deck eventually and alternate between the two decks every FNM. If you want to look at my Jesper token deck here it is, Jeskai Tokeninator

@lunchboxmaster777 It is a boat load of fun! Like I said, it definitely has potential. Erebos is an insane engine, liliana is an insane engine, and crackling doom makes people cry. It's great. There are a ton of good sideboard options, so you should look through it and put your own personal touch on it, if you're going to play it. I have a few cards that I'd like to playtest in the board, so more to come on that. But, people definitely don't see it coming. It's a great surprise element. I appreciate your enthusiasm, and if you build it, let me know how it goes! Good luck!
