The idea is similar to a UW control, in that you durdle until you draw your win cons, but we replaced countermagic with kill spells, and there's no life gain. Being black, we aren't concerned with life total, and stabilizing at 2 life is not uncommon. There's also the back up plan of milling them out if we can't use Desecration Demon or AEtherling to beat them down
