This is not a Jeleva deck. (I mean, she's my commander, but its not at all built around her, and I'll be using the newly spoiled Nicol Bolas as soon as M19 is released.) This is a nigh creatureless deck, that tries to slow the game down and win with planeswalkers or with cards from an opponent's deck .

The meta in our playgroup is pretty creature heavy, and I want to deal with that on a budget. I want to capitalize on the fact that I have next to no creatures. .

For example: One of my friends likes to chain Woodland Bellower into Fierce Empath into Protean Hulk to fill the board and win with some combo. While this strategy has been hard to deal with with what was in our decks before, cards like Torpor Orb and Overburden have proved to be very efficient in slowing these strategies down. .

I will happily consider your advice on how to develop the deck. Please note that I prefer cards to be in the <5$ range. (I evidently have some cards that are more expensive than that, but those are but remnants of days past)
