Lost match 1 game 1 against infinite damage from a Murderous Redcap, got a faster start and won game 2, game 3 he had a board wipe, leaving me off mana which made it impossible to come back from, Orzhov Pontiff was the winner of game 3.
Bye second round. Round 3 was against infect, game 1 won with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, game 2 won because I had a starting hand with 2 Spellskites when he used Inquisition of Kozilek.
Rounds 4 and 5 were against the same person. First match, I won game one with Fling using a Master of Etherium and a Cranial Plating (24 damage). Game 2 I won with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas. Match 5 didn't go as well. I won game 1 with a quick start. Game 2 he top decked stoney silence his turn 3 right after I played a Steel Overseer on my turn 2. Game 3 just kept drawing lands, when I finally drew some creatures, he had Olivia Voldaren out.
Overall standing was 3rd. Paid $10 entry, won an Arid Mesa. Not too bad for a 9 player tourney.
