From experience, Master of Etherium is usually more of a threat than Etched Champion because it doesn't require an equip and buffs other artifacts. I'd take the Etched Champion s out in for more masters or Galvanic Blast (you should be able to hit red pretty easily).

I took out 3 Galvanic Blast for 2 Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas and a fourth Glimmervoid . Both Master of Etherium and Etched Champion have their advantages. That's why I run a 2/2 split in main and a 2/2 split in the side.

Tidehollow Strix isn't modern legal. This deck seems good. What do you do against Blood Moon ?

Oh, I just realized you said tidehollow. I thought you said baleful. That's my bad.

Against Blood Moon make the best of Springleaf Drum and Mox Opal . Plus, Odds are I would have sided in the Whipflare s and sided out at least 1 Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas , so the Blood Moon might actually help me.

I would run Tidehollow Strix if it wasn't so color dependent. Being color specific for each mana is a pain, especially with a low drop. Although, if Baleful Strix was modern legal, I probably would try to make room for it...

Honestly, I'm more scared of Stony Silence as it just hoses the deck... Stops Arcbound Ravager , Steel Overseer , Cranial Plating , Mox Opal , Springleaf Drum , Welding Jar , and Darksteel Citadel ... That's why I run 4 Glimmervoid main and 3 Ray of Revelation side.

Really nice deck, +1!

As for your sideboard option, I'd swap out the Whipflare for Ethersworn Canonist. I play an Esper version of Robots and Canonist has won me so many games. Weenie match-ups usually are races, and Canonist helps ensure that you win that race. Instead of splitting up removal between Ancient Grudge and Ray of Revelation I just run Disenchant, you may want to consider that. Mindbreak Trap has been extremely marginal for me, so I ditched it -- how has it been for you? Storm decks are pretty rare for me, post-banning of Seething Song.

I really thing you should have the full set of Memnite . The 0 drop creatures are so important to the explosive starts this deck is capable of. They make Mox Opal , Springleaf Drum , and Signal Pest absolutely insane, power up Cranial Plating and Master of Etherium , and help make Thoughtcast and Etched Champion ridiculous very fast.

If I went the red route, then I would be running a full set of Memnite s. However, the U/B version is supposed to run a little slower. I wanted to run this kind of robot deck because it has the potential to win quickly, but is resilient and can keep up with decks late game. I didn't want to burn if I don't win quickly out like the red versions do.
