This deck is about sowing out Lose conditions, for our opponent to reap.
The goal is to survive until turn 4-6 where you give them control of a powerful lose condition card and lock them out of the game or straight up make them lose.
Harmless Offering and Coveted Falcon Are our control shifting cards.
Archfiend of the Dross and Greed's Gambit are our more standard mainboard lose-conditions.
The power of gifting Marina Vendrell's Grimoire is an understated wincon when your opponent is already discarding and losing life from Greed's Gambit each turn.
After playing go fish with it this appears to be viable against most matchups without artifact removal handy. (that's why we run Abrade don't want to die to our own cards)
We'll be running a lot of interaction to keep our opponent at bay while we set up.
This is essentially a 'combo deck' and can get punished by other control decks, so we have to hold our counters for the right time; esspecially when we are attempting to shift control of a powerful negative effect card, The Coveted Falcon gets around this but Harmless Offering can be interacted with.
On that note, If our opponent is also running control, switch in the Cursed Recordings to limit our opponent's ability to cast their spells, threatening 20 dmg if they attempt to cast an instant or sorcery is oddly potent, esspecially if they get it when it already has 5 or 6 counters on it...
I'll keep playing with this to switch up the feel against some decks I've seen recently.
So far what's up there is what feels good.
