So the point of this deck is to grind out a Demonic Pact till you Harmless Offering it away to your opponent to lose the game.
It runs some large creature threat, decent removal and deck thinning, some counter spells as a way to slow the game. Now some fun things that have come up.
Torrential Gearhulk into Dig Through Time has been pretty fun. And a card I've only used in commander up until now is Disciple of the Ring its only a one of but it has had the ability to decently control opponents though its not the best.
Silumgar Sorcerer
are mostly just extra counter spells, mostly exploiting themselves, however they can be a 2/1 flier to beat in or when coming up against cards like
Captured by the Consulate
and auras of the like it can exploit that creature to counter a spell. But I'm not to attached to them.
Collective Brutality is pretty good, can hit a hand and take it apart, decent spot removal but not great however, there have been several times that you drop it, ditch your hand and just dome someone out for their last 10 health or so, its pretty fun.
The Side board is designed with better counter spells in control specific match ups, Thing in the Ice
for decks that like to cheat out large creatures or flood with tokens which Virulent Plague helps with as well.
Invasive Surgery
is there only in case I come into a mirror match up or some other crazy combo deck comes about, I'm just thinking ahead right now. I'm not sure how great its going to be we'll say, hey, this is a format with TREASURE CRUISE and guess what? it counters that XD.
Now the thing I want help with the most is probably any ideas to ramp mana effectively which I don't think I can in the colors, better removal for vs. the Grixis Dragon decks rolling around in the meta.
I'm not playing Frontier to net deck or be the best, mainly to have fun and not have to deal with buying and using shock lands and other hard staples in modern.
