what would you say to just boarding into a grixis delver list instead of control? any good?

Grixis Delver is weak to a lot of the same strategies as the combo: removal heavy stuff. Boarding into control allows you to not care about removal as much since if they're drawing disruption, then their proactive is generally weaker, so you can deal with their proactive plan and control them to death more easily.

ghgiunco and ToolmasterOfBrainerd pinging you both because I figured I might have found a new interesting variation on the old Pili-Pala builds. The main 60 im relatively comfortable with (wincons involve Tasigur, the Golden Fang being able to buy-back your entire yard, giving you infinite Lightning Bolts and Whispers of the Muse fetching out tasigur), and the sideboard needs work, but I'm curious as to your guys' thoughts.

I dont catch exactly how Tassi give us infinit Lightning Bolt seen a risk to mill, as Tassi ability is by opponet choise. I miss something?

I not build an UB yet, i like the simplicity of monoU, is fun, but i dont have how to get an Cryptic Command cause this can help against aggro too.

The other version i liked and show very synergic is with . Eternal Witness, Chord of Calling get all pieces nos just pili .. a version with Collected Company, idk yet.

Tasigur can't mill you to death because you only mill out when you draw a card. Because of that you can put your whole deck in the yard and get the entire non land base back into your hand with enough activations. That means infinite everythings, but bolt is the real pay-off

DuTogira But you dont think is hard to opponent chose the bolt to return for you when he see the purpose ? i'll dont lie, dont catch all the idea here. I guess prefer the black disentomb and disrupt spell of black and dig of blue. Try to make the Green version, much nice tools.

Eventually, tasigur runs out of deck to mill. You can still activate his ability at that point and it won't lose you the game because you can't "lose to mill". You just lose when you try to draw a card from an empty library.
This means eventually tasigur'a ability becomes "return a non-land card of opponents choice from yard to hand".
Activate that enough and eventually your opponent is forced to give you back bolt, after they've returned everything else to your hand. Then you bolt them and spit rinse repeat.

ohhh boy, now i get the idea, i was sure if no card in library when use his ability we lose. The opponent will be forced to return bolt ... hahaha i'n sry to this delay. Now this turn interesting, but i guess with another wincon, not the focus. What do you think ?!

The other wincon is Whispers of the Muse to draw your deck, play tasigur, and use the tasigur wincon. Snapcaster Mage can flashback a whispers from the yard as a wincon, and Muddle the Mixture can fetch a snapcaster to flashback whispers. A good 15 wincons in total.
