Before I start I would like to say that Todd got extremely lucky to have tinker in his opening hand for two games in a row, this is extremely unlikely to happen all the time. When I first saw the deck I really liked it, especially with the inclusion of Subterranean Tremors. One of my favorite decks in Vintage is Esper Outcome, but I had most of the pieces from my collection to try out this deck. The main goal is to get a Voltaic Key/Time Vault or getting Blightsteel Colossus out as soon as possible with counterspell protection in hand. For the slower games you can use Jace and Notion Thief to lock out your opponent.
