This is a Std deck from a bygone era, mostly for archival and nostalgia purposes. I have played this on FNM but it is still a fun, casual Burning Vengeance deck.

The deck had some plans for the meta: 1. Geistflame and Departure for Thalia and Delver/Snap decks. Also Departure big beaters which you cannot kill (yet) with Vengeance Flashbacks. 2. Faithless Looting as card advantage since you discard flashback spells. As such, no Ponder post DKA. 3. Some cards are in the deck to help with Thrun, like Tribute, as it is a bit weak against it. 4. Devil's Play and Stensia Bloodhall control PWs and finish the long game when Vengeance isn't at play.

Grave Titan in the sideboard against creature decks and graveyard hate. The maindeck has no creatures other than Gargoyle, so you would side in Titan after sideboard even when playing some control and midrange decks.

These were the cards I had but others like Nephalia Drownyard would've probably been a better choice. Post DKA, I played a number of Dissipates and 4x after SOM/MBS/NPH rotation. Lingering Souls was a bigger issue after Ratchet Bomb rotated. With this version you would mostly always play the Mana Leaks, except against some really aggressive red decks. Don't remember much about the sideboard other than Snapcaster beating Duress, so I'd rather board in some form of card advantage.
