Bile blight and jest do not work together, bileblight only targets with the same name. jest doesnt change names. i.e. if you jest a Stormbreath Dragon it becomes a 1/1 with no abilities still called stormbreath dragon.

yeah Jedne2 is right but it works with Curse of the Swine you can also anger them as my house mate says BACON OF THE GODS!!! he runs Temur midrange.

If you're gonna do it, I'd remove Bile Blight and Disdainful Stroke and Negate for 3 circles and 3 jest

Polymorphist's Jest specificaly reads that they become frogs. Why couldn't you bile blight with it?

It does not say that it changes the name. they become frog creatures, but they still keep their names.

How about Pearl Lake Ancient as a 1 or 2 of?

November 2, 2014 7:45 p.m.

SoulSealer says... #9

@ ZBRMusic it does combo nicely with scry lands only thing that im on the fence about with Pearl Lake Ancient at this stage is that my hand seems to be very full a lot of the time with untap go between the Dig Through Time and Steam Augury that on a few occasions especially if my opponent doesn't do anything that I am having to almost discard I find that I can turn my gods on what seems like a long stretch is funny to see and with Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker although I could see this as a sideboard card vs mirror matches will do some testing and see what happens :)

4 Dig Through Time s and Murderous Cut seems to be far too many expensive delve cards...you just don't have that amount in your deck...have you been having issues with this?

November 2, 2014 10:24 p.m.

SoulSealer says... #11

@Scytec I have had no issues at all with the Delving Jace, the Living Guildpact helps a little with this I had some Dig Through Time fun in some casual games going Dig Delving into Dig Delving into Negate on the Crater's Claws I have more issues with double blue but that's just because I am cursed :P.

Cruel Control is a Modern (and Old Standard) U/B/R (Grixis) control deck genre that utilizes Cruel Ultimatum as a finisher. This deck is not one of those types. Nice deck, though.

Prolly have a little more success versus aggro if you added 4 Drown in Sorrow to the SB.

Disregard last ... I just woke up and failed to realize for a quick second what Anger of the Gods did lmfao! Great deck over all, I was reading over it saying to myself, "got that, oh -- got that as well."

@selith69 lol thanks for the comments I normally post my FnM results but as we have friends over for last and this week I wont be able to but feel free to follow the deck see how it goes and <3 Anger of the Gods does so much work :P

I have been playing Grixis since...well forever. But after khans came out, I relized that, although my deck was wel positioned I my meta, my mana base was extremely lacking. even though I own all 8 fetches for the deck, I had to cut down on them to make room for more duals. If there is any recommendation I can make, it would be to add Mana Confluence. I know the life loss sucks, but casting spells on time is important. with Jeskai becoming less popular, it isn't as inconvenient to run it anymore, and I have noticed much more consistency and success.

Try adding Crux of Fate or Perilous Vault for a dedicated board wipe and 1 Ugin, the Spirit Dragon as a finisher/boardwipe.

@BlatantLizard I have looked at a few of the new fates cards and am looking at Palace Siege and Monastery Siege aswell as a form of life gain and counter to the burn that I suspect will be showing its ugly head around soon with the new cards I for one do not overly like Perilous Vault I find its too slow and if I have to use that then I am probably already loosing but will be running a 1 of Ugin, the Spirit Dragon looking forward to rocking him

BlatantLizard says... #22

Monastery Siege is basically a better version of thassa, so i would recommend cutting her for either a Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver or Pearl Lake Ancient

thanks for the comment micah1 I love the Grixis Control there is so many options getting the mana right is the hardest part and living life on dangerous side running only 25 :P I was away for 3 weeks for the new set so I am not 100% sure what I am going to be running yet for the update.Ay idea's or suggestions are most welcome I have heard anticipate is very good maybe something that comes in for a solid T2 and maybe dropping a Keranos will have to happen aswell.
