["To the Golgari... anything buried is treasure..."]

The aim of this deck is to fully utilize your creatures... both before and after death. Your all-stars are aimed to be Scavenging Ooze and Desecration Demon.

Part one of this grisly spectacle will begin with Desecration Demon's destructive nature. Guaranteeing death wherever he roams, he will consume your enemies sacrifices and destroy those who resist. Upon finishing that which he can, the leftovers will surely not go to waste. Scavenging Ooze will make great use of the decaying rest to form +1/+1 counters of its own as well as allowing it's host to gain life.

Those alone are a formidable foes, but their crew only spread more disease and destruction. Starting with the fearsome fungus, Corpsejack Menace doubling every +1/+1 counter Desecration Demon and Scavenging Ooze create; it will spread this effect to Bow of Nylea, Slitherhead, and Gyre Sage as well.

I am still working on side board options. The current build allows one to splash in white at any given time to alter your approach. Its more than likely to assist in match ups to protect the tokens if you are having a hard time with the bigger threats of this deck. Enjoy and leave any comments you feel appropriate!

Finished third place last night at Friday Night Magic.

I forgot to write down all the details (due to naturally lower expectations), but the vague ones ought to be enough.

There was an absence of control in my match ups, closest one being a Junk deck in an early round, but my deck managed to break through the match ups with a 4-2 record; with both losses decided 1-2. Each match was decided in similar fashion; Lotleth Troll or Kalonian Hydra got too big and trampled their foes to death; or it just became a disgusting and brutal match, swinging until the end... letting the victor pick up his teeth and claim their prize.

It was my first trip to top eight, so I was rather excited. I hope this deck continues to prove me well!
