This is the Gruul version of the deck. For the Naya version, see Naya Deaththorn Slivers.

The whole point of this deck is Bow of Nylea plus Thorncaster Sliver. Death thorns everywhere, mow down everything they own, run them over for game. Barring that, a Megantic Sliver can get the job done.

The instants here are to keep your slivers from dying. Slivers are no good unless you can reach critical mass, so you need to either get them out faster than they get removed or stop the removal.

If you're against a rushdown deck, Striking Sliver and Predatory Sliver are your best friends. Two-power first strikers eat aggro creatures.
