Hello Guys, this is my Gruul Beasts Deck i used at FNM on 3/14/14. I always end up changing my deck at the last minute before the tournament and this time was no exception and i must say it worked out for the best. I traded my signed Elspeths for my final cards needed for the build (besides Domri Rade). I am happy with this build and i am hoping to take out boon satyr for 1 more ghor clan rampager, one more stormbreath and one more Domri Rade. At that point i believe the deck will have good consistency. Besides the consistency, we usually completely skip over the three drops and play a four mana or five mana cost creature on turn three anyways, therefore Boon Satyr won't be needed in the mainboard. My Local Metagame has been heavy on Control especially Mono Black, since the Event Deck mass produced Desocration Demon and Hero's Downfall, and we also see Esper and USA Control every once in a while. For these matchups i side in 2 more Ruric Thars, and 3 Mistcutter Hydras, along with Destructive revelry and Unravel the AEther to deal with Detention Sphere on Domri Rade, Garruk, Xenagos or even Polukranos. Money is no issue and what is written down in the decklist i own. Am hoping to acquire another Domri Rade through a trade and a third one is probably just going to be bought, but i find Domri Rade worth it even if you just +1 it once and then -2 twice.
