So the idea here is to make a Gruul EDH deck as good as can be. Has to be Gruul, other then that there are no rules. I've seen a few builds that use lots of anthems and tokens, but that doesn't feel like the big beefy clan that I know, so with that in mind lets get to the deck.

Stage one is ramp out as hard and fast as possible. Best I can do is 6 mana turn 3 (sol ring -> cultivate) so from there I try to cast out all my non-creature spells, then hammer Ruric Thar into the table and watch him die to removal/counterspells (hopefully my opponent takes 6). Then I can play something else on my turn, or if I have the mana just keep slapping Ruric Thar into play until he sticks, then play the rest of my creatures.

There's a small birthing pod curve built into the deck.E.Witness -> Anger -> Genesis -> Wurmcoil Engine -> Avenger of Zendikar/Knollspine Dragon -> Terastodon/Woodfall Primus -> Artisan of Kozilek.

I'm hesitant to include more Eldrazi because there EtB triggers don't happen unless I cast them, which means Chord of Calling, Birthing Pod, Mimic Vat and Tooth and Nail won't trigger them...

Anyway this is all very homebrew/casual, but help is always appreciated.

(PS the insurrection is for when I play multiplayer and primeval titan isn't legal anymore. )
