Hello everybody.
I'm looking on suggestions on what to improve with this deck. I prefer the cards to be less than $5 dollars on cardkingdom. As a side note, should I run Searing Blaze? The double red mana is what keeps me from putting it in.
I'm not sure if Splendid Reclamation will do any good with the only lands that can go into my graveyard by themselves being Cabaretti Courtyard and Blighted Woodland...
But I want a finisher. I don't know if I should run Nahiri's Lithoforming either because it's very RNG reliant and requires 2 red mana. I don't have many dual lands. Scapeshift is too expensive.
Speaking of lands, which lands should I run? Gruul Turf allows me to replay a land to trigger landfall again but it comes in tapped... The cycling lands that are relevant here or the ones that could fit in in my opinion being Sheltered Thicket, Tranquil Thicket, and Forgotten Cave also come in tapped, even though they synergize with Splendid Reclamation well. Evolving Wilds and Terramorphic Expanse could be good as well.
Elvish Reclaimer is also too expensive. I like the 3 mana creatures in my deck because they have "permanent" effects in the sense that the +1/+1 counters don't go away and the damage dealt from the Geopede is probably not healed too often.
I also think that since Lotus Cobra doesn't give you a landfall trigger, that it's not worth including... But I'm open to change my mind, I just hope you explain why Lotus Cobra would fit.
I guess I want to branch into 2 color decks now. And if you do have time, could you please look at Mono Blitz R 2 good? I want to know if searing blaze is worth it in that deck because it's mono red.
