"Those who regard the Gruul as savage simpletons underestimate the subtle power of their shamans."~Burning-Tree Emissary~

"Not Gruul? Then die!"~Borborygmos~

Though I only play standard right now (mainly because I have no one to play Modern with ;-;), I am extremely tempted to buy this deck. Out of all the decks I've made so far, I put the most TLC and time into this one. It's by far my favorite deck.

It's still a work in progress, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it looks now.

Creatures:

Rage Forger : The shaman that every shamanism deck should have without question. This guy pushes damage through like it's nobodies business and can win games. If you have more than one on the field, it's GG.

Flamekin Harbinger: Fetches your Rage Forger .

Bosk Banneret: Lets you drop creatures very fast and 3 toughness is decent if you're forced into defense. With a Rage Forger buff or two, it can swing without worrying about dying.

Burning-Tree Emissary: A staple for any fast deck running R/G. Capable of some explosive plays. I was very impressed by her when I first played her and she's actually somewhat responsible for my interest in shaman tribal.

Wolf-Skull Shaman : Helps build board presence. Stack them for good times and an army of wolves.

Burning-Tree Shaman : The Burning-Tree clan shows up to the party yet again! This guy is awesome. AT worse, he's a 3/4 for 3. Pretty damn good for a deck with relatively small creatures. At best he's a 3/4 for 2 with Bosk Banneret and burns your opponent. Pump him up with Rage Forger and he's a powerhouse. Not to mention his art is sweet. Gruul chest tattoo ftw!

Skinshifter : Very versatile dude. Plus he looks like Nicolas Cage. Just don't let bees near him.

Elvish Visionary: Card advantage. Nothing too impressive.

Mul Daya Channelers : Last, but not least, is the decks newcomer. She is either a 5/5 for 3 or ramps you for either red or green. She has the potential to be stronger than Burning-Tree Shaman , but her power is inconsistent. Her ramp really helps and it's nice to know what you're going to draw next.

Other Spells:

Lightning Bolt: Pretty self explanatory. Cheap burn to either finish off opponents and/or burn creatures.

Lead the Stampede: I run out of gas fairly quick and this grabs more shamans.

Bow of Nylea : Here more for deathtouch that it's other abilities, but it's nice to have options.

Sideboard:

Eternal Witness and Reclamation Sage are both very good cards, but aren't in the main deck because they don't fit the aggro strategy I want.

Ghor-Clan Rampager , Rancor and Thrun, the Last Troll are here just in case I need more power.

Stigma Lasher stops life gain and permanently damages their big creatures.

Planeswalker:

Domri Rade is here mainly for card advantage, though it's nice to have removal and his emblem if I really need them. He's also my favorite planeswalker.

Suggestions and upvotes are appreciated :)

Updates Add

I have the majority of this deck sleeved now. The only things I need to get my hands on are Rootbound Crag, Thrun, the Last Troll and a few other sideboard cards. For now, Lightning Strike is taking the place of Lightning Bolt.
