Just uploading to Tappedout from TCGPlayer. Briefly: R/G struggle some in multiplayer, as they lack some of the degeneracy, speed, or safeguards of the other colors (specifically U and B). After close to a decade of tinkering and testing, the best solution is to accelerate out a succession of must-answer threats- each with more than a single cards value. I should note that my playgroup has been around for awhile, and that as adults, we play with a minimal banned list (No Ante; Silver-Border on a case-by-case basis). Games are on a different level when decks at the table are packing power and other vintage cards. As most of Magic's most potent cards are in colors other than Red and Green, it makes it even more important to have a high answer and threat count. If playing with only one or two opponents, consider using Xenagod as Commander.
