Mad_Guns22,
That's a really good idea. I'll maybeboard it for now, and decide once the new archetypes settle out a little. Thanks!

Does this deck really need Beastcaller Savant? It's creatures are relatively cheap, and it is only a 2 color deck.

I found a card that could be killer in this deck. Unfortunately, url linking does not seem to be working, but here is the address: https://twitter.com/maro254/status/712367720184946688).
An enchantment you can play on your opponent's turn so you can pass your turn and flip your werewolves, and grants+1/+1 and Trample to Wolves and Werewolves. So good.

Nice find... It's also a great combat trick, which I can see netting wins after chump blocks.

Ryjo,
Thanks much for pointing that out! That's another 3-drop that's going to be great in a bunch of mid-range Werewolf decks, but doesn't really fit in this one.
By the way, here's the trick for URL linking:

dthscythe,
Unless I'm missing something, the deck needs mana acceleration to score a Turn 4 win, and Dingus Egg seemed like the best option.
I'm loving the idea of something like this ...
- T1: Play Dingus Egg / Cast Village Messenger / Swing with Messenger for 1 damage
- T2: Messenger transforms to Moonrise Intruder / Play Dingus Egg / Cast Dingus Egg / Swing with Intruder and Savant for 3 (4 total)
- T3: Play Dingus Egg / Tap Savant for of any color / Cast Zada, Hedron Grinder / Swing with Intruder for 2 (6 total)
- T4: Play any Land / Tap Savant for / Cast Silverfur Partisan / Cast Titan's Strength targeting Zada / Put two 2/2 Wolf tokens (A&B) onto the battlefield / Intruder, Savant, Zada, and Silverfur get +3/+1 / Scry 1 four times / Cast Dingus Egg targeting Zada / Put four 2/2 Wolf tokens onto the battlefield / Intruder, Savant, Zada, Silverfur, and Wolf tokens A&B gain Haste / Draw 6 / Swing with Intruder, Savant, Zada, Silverfur, and wolf tokens A&B for 31 (37 total)

Kala,
It's some kind of joke, across the site. There are multiple threads on it ... here's one

New Wolf/Werewolf enchantment spoiled. :) If you haven't seen it:
I don't think it's the greatest but a good uncommon with some potential for a slot or two
Loving how they are pushing the tribes.

HairyManBack,
Ryjo beat you to it, in Post #6. :-)
Yeah, I love all the Tribal synergy we're getting. So fun!

Agreed. I simply can't wait to abuse in my Bant deck Thalia's Lieutenant and Hanweir Militia Captain. (Not sure how to link)
http://www.mtgsalvation.com/cards/shadows-over-innistrad/26826-hanweir-militia-captain
A human that gets bigger when I make other humans, and makes other humans bigger when I use it; and a human well sized for its cost that fairly easily turns into a big, growing human that makes more humans and makes itself bigger... Quite nice, if you ask me, and perfectly on curve to compliment my army of Veteran Warleaders.

Funny enough, the Militia Captain lets you get a 10/10 back with Ojutai's Command, which I need to acquire.

Alright. Saw the comment, but I didn't catch the details. Thanks! Let's see if this works...

For comment 9 - I might be missing some things on the turn 4, but it's a solid 24-29, minimum.

Everyone,
Scourge Wolf just got spoiled:
for a 2/2 Wolf Horror with First Strike and Delirium - Scourge Wolf has double strike as long as there are four or more card types among cards in your graveyard.
Currently, the deck doesn't support Delirium, so Duskwatch Recruiter is definitely better. But a few Evolving Wilds would make double strike possible in the mid-game. I'm thinking it's not worth it, but appreciate your thoughts!

+1! Cool deck you have here. I bet this will do pretty good in Modern with just a few changes. Here's my Standard Gruul if anyone's interested:

Will absolutely do a playtest between the two decks.

If this was a mono-red deck, I would say Scourge Wolf would be the 2 drop to have. But for this deck, in many matches, I would expect to play Scourge Wolf no earlier than turn 3. Since you already have Silverfur Partisan and Exquisite Firecraft in your 3 slots, I would advise against Scourge Wolf.
March 23, 2016 8:48 a.m.
I think that new Wolf would work well in a deck focused on Delerium, but for your deck it's not quite right.
Putting in Evolving Wilds just to try to activate Delerium for this one card would be a bad move, in my opinion.
That land just has no place in most aggro builds, due to the land it fetches coming in tapped.
