+1. Love itttt. I am in the process of creating a deck verrry similar to this one. I would cut the fourth Scavenging Ooze though as it is never pleasant having more than one on the field. 3 is money.

Also, Xenagos, The Reveler would be a great two of in this deck if you can squeeze him in.

tbabb632, you really think so? Its funny because I've been struggling with the exact same switch. I started out with 3 Scavenging Ooze and 11 Forest , and after extensive play testing, and switching it back and forth, I added the forth Scavenging Ooze and nixed the Forest . I understand the lack of relevance of having multiple Scavenging Ooze , but the only upside is I can throw one out early and when it dies, you can follow up with more. He's a good card to hold on to and play after a board wipe or other mass removal. While I agree with you more about the Scavenging Ooze , I really don't miss that forest at all. I have tons of mana ramp, and flooding can be a major issue. I basically just use him as a bear.
I had two Xenagos, The Reveler in the sideboard, but there were really no games where they should have come in / did any better. I really wanted to put him in but I'm not sure that I'm midrange enough to actually run him successfully. Who would you want to cut to fit in Xenagos, The Reveler ?
I doubt that the extra land makes the difference between flood or not, but I don't feel like I've missed that extra Forest much at all. I guess I just don't know which is better, because I change my mind on it too. Thanks for your comments.

I agree with you on the extra Forest , I don't think it's necessary with the amount of ramp you are running.
I see where you are coming from in regards to Scavenging Ooze , when I was running 4, I seemed to end up with 3 almost every game, if I could see two in a game it would be perfect and if that's what you are seeing, then I would stick to the full playset too.
Xenagos is great for the monstrous abilities in Polukranos, World Eater and Stormbreath Dragon , really can catch the opponent off guard.
Personally, my deck is virtually the same as this except I have a playset of Ember Swallower and 2 Ruric Thar, the Unbowed in place of Experiment One -1 Scavenging Ooze and Boon Satyr .
I absolutely loooove Boon Satyr and am also a fan of Experiment One also, however I feel that they belong more in a Selesnya Aggro style deck.

My opinion...if you are going for a mid range deck built around some fatty creatures, cut the aggro creatures entirely and focus on ramp. I think if you are running Elvish Mystic and Sylvan Caryatid , the experiments aren't necessary.

I take that back on the Boon Satyr lol. I just added him into my Gruul deck. Too good.

ClansInitiate, I just don't know if I'm ready to go green devotion. I like Stormbreath Dragon too much haha. Its just that I feel like I'm so much more concerned with splitting the dedicated colors I need rather than just excessive mana. Stormbreath Dragon and Polukranos, World Eater are totally mana hungry, but they're more of an outlet / use for mana flood than a necessary end. I usually have enough mana to monstrous as is necessary, otherwise it's evasion is the most important principle and it just wins that way. I think if I were going midrange, Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx would be in here along with Garruk, Caller of Beasts , but since I'm kind of aggro / tempo, I think I just have to prefer colors over the Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx . I thought long and hard about putting it in there. It looks very good. Can you think of a land or what to cut? And always thanks for the comments.

If you are doing an aggro deck I would recommend using Burning-Tree Emissary rather than Sylvan Caryatid . It's a great card but the emissary has more to offer for an aggro deck.

I always feel like people are relying on planewalkers a little too heavily after rotation. Having 4 Domri's feels like too much to me, because its not a card that you want/can have multiples of on the field. I ran 4 at first but cut to 2 after starting with 2 in my starting hand several times, what do you think? Feel free to check out my RG midrange list and give me advice.

Krimson_Knight, I am aggro, but I also have 8 mana ramp creatures in the form of Elvish Mystic and Sylvan Caryatid . Also, these creatures make mana, while Burning-Tree Emissary is just free. I've fiddled around with putting in Burning-Tree Emissary , but it would honestly be in the spot Experiment One is in. I've really come to like the Experiment One better than the 2/2 really, after a lot of playtesting. If I were running devotion, with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx I think I would have to cram her in there simply on principle. I've just come to value Experiment One 's ability to grow over Burning-Tree Emissary 's freebie. I thought so too at first, but my experience made me go back on my intuition.
99str207, you're correct that you can only have one Domri Rade out there doing work for you but there are a couple of reasons I run 4. First, turn two Domri is the nuts. By having 4, you maximize the odds of getting that early domri that just tries to take over the game. Also, between using his -2 to fight things, your opponent in general, but especially Thoughtseize and Hero's Downfall will strip your Domri quick. I agree that if you're looking to make room on a list, trying to reduce on cards that "don't stack" their abilities well is a good place to start, but I just like to frame the question, and I think there's more value gained in an early Domri than is lost in having multiple. Games where I have multiple Domri, I can play the way I want pretty aggressively from the beginning.
And thanks everyone for commenting. This deck is getting tweaked all the time, so I've tried to test different strategies as I go along.
