This is a Gruul deck that I made with cards I have gotten since Gatecrash. I started playing MTG about 4 months ago and I really haven't messed around with aggro too much. I usually play on the weekends with a group of friends but I'm planning on starting to go to FNM's soon and I'd really like to get a solid deck before I do. This decks main focus is to get out one of the one or two drops as quickly as possible and bloodrush the opponent to death before they know what happens. Rancor's help to get some bigger early swings, in addition to the trample that has won me some games. My prime win condition is to just get as much damage out as possible before they can do too much about it, then trample to finish the game off with Ghor-Clan Rampager and Rancor. I added 4x Wildwood Rebirth 's to either get creatures that have been removed back to my field as quickly as possible, or to throw out a quick bloodrush to potentially win the game. Skullcrack's are thrown in to deal a quick 3 damage if I have a slow hand and potentially to finish off an opponent who has gotten enough defenses to slow me down late game. I originally was running 4x Madcap Skills and 4x Alpha Authority's to make for some unblockable awesomeness, but I ended up removing the Alpha's for Rancor's. As I said I'm not the most experienced player yet and I would appreciate any feedback/help that can be given. Me and some friends had a small tournament for fun yesterday and the results were: 2-0 against Azorious Detain 2-0 against Rakdos Aggro 2-1 against Dimir Control 0-2 against a Selensya Populate deck Again, any help that could be given would be greatly appreciated.
