The core concept is to put out 1 and 2 drops as early as possible (Kumena's Speaker for or Deeproot Elite for ) and apply early board pressure. Pump them with 1/1 counters and use tribal synergies.

I do get run over by aggro decks most of the time. One change I'm considering currently is the addition of Nissa, Steward of Elements and take down Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca and Merfolk Mistbinder, one card each. This would break the dependency on Ixalan block, though. Do you have any suggestions?
