This is a fun deck idea I got. I really like the Evolve mechanic but you know... I'd like a sped-up version, please. To quote Master Biomancer (yes, I'm that Gatecrash-manic): "Nature is a wonderful engineer but works far too slowly for my tastes".

So here's a solution of mine. This deck relies mostly on counters and them being transfered around. Fog in this deck is just a proxy for Bioshifts, which apparently haven't been added to the database yet. They combo extremely well with Corpsejack Menace since moving them around doubles the amount of counters. Moving counters around results to insane ramp (Gyre Sage), card draw ( Fathom Mage ) and gaining control of target creatures (Simic Manipulator). Btw, Simic Manipulator is awesome with Illusionist's Bracers.

I don't know whether this deck is really standard-playable but to me it sounds like jolly good fun! Another idea I've played around with is a G/U/B self-mill deck with at least Fathom Mage + Corpsejack Menace + Prime Speaker Zegana + Laboratory Maniac and some Dimir cards (Whispering Madness, for example).

Please, let me know what you think!
