I have made some edits that seem to have helped. The one problem I run into is against cheap deathtouch and not having out my Ainok Bond-Kin's.

pretty cool but I think it needs more removal... Other than that, pretty cool strategy, it seems like fun to play.

Added some Winds of Qal Sisma and removed some of the other non-creatures. What kind of removal does White/Green even have?

I just added a second Enduring Scalelord for the chance at the infinite token loop.

I've still been having issues with speed. If I can manage to last a while, the deck can get extremely powerful, but most decks I play against can deal lethal on turn 5-7. I'm trying with the Shaman of Forgotten Ways for ramp, but I had to remove a few things I didn't want to remove. I also removed the Enduring Scalelords because they just never really saw play and added Abzan Falconers for flying. I'm also thinking of adding several Den Protectors because they are cheap and can help me not feel bad losing creatures early on. Looking for any ideas to keep this tactic but speed it up.

OK, I changed it again lol. I sideboarded the Den Protectors, Obscuring AEthers and Shaman of Forgotten Ways and added Herald of Anafenza and changed some of the amounts. This seems to help speed. I should be able to defend well until I'm able to really pump out the counters. Obscuring AEther and megamorph in general just seems too slow to base an entire deck around, so just changing the curve and the number of megamorphs seems to have helped.

Have you thought about Collected Company? So many of your cards could be brought out, and it will accelerate you vs aggro.

If I draw an Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit that way, can I place her down and then place the second and have it trigger the bolster?

It won't allow me to use the megamorph abilities of Hidden Dragonslayer and Ainok Survivalist, which makes them not nearly as useful. I'm not sure I can find creatures to replace those with that fit as well in this deck.

I tried the Collected Company and had really bad luck with it, so I went back to what I have above. I was able to play against a few different decks, and performed better than I expected, but it's still not quite there yet. I think I want to put in the Abzan Battle Priests, and I'm thinking I'll sideboard most of the Hidden Dragonslayer and Ainok Bond-Kin so I have them available if needed. Maybe keep one of each of those and put in two of the Abzan Battle Priests and then increase Feat of Resistance to 3x.

Elvish mystic over shaman, collected company over everything- its too good not to have. i suggest 4 Anafenza, she seems too important not always have

I just tested with Collected Company again... and I just don't get it's use in this deck. Sure there is a CHANCE I could get out a couple creatures, but more likely I'm going to just get one and put a bunch of stuff on the bottom that I wanted. I see it's use in other decks, but it just hasn't worked well for me in this one. I hate to do a full set of Anafenza since she's legendary, but I may go ahead and put one more in. I'll do some testing and see.

I ran this how it is now, and it performed very well. I took out an ok control deck and a pretty good aggro deck with it. The 4th Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit helped. I also think taking the Ainok Bond-Kin out and upping the Abzan Battle Priest and Abzan Falconer works much better.

3 cards that you may want to consider are Chronicler of Heroes, Reap What Is Sown, and High Sentinels of Arashin. Chronicler of Heroes almost always draws a card in this deck, providing a source of card draw on a decently costed body to keep the engine going. High Sentinels of Arashin is a good top end that enables counters and benefits off the other counter enablers. Finally,Reap What Is Sown is very good if you are trying to go wide with counters for the counter lords and Avatar of the Resolute. Also if it fits your budget, Collected Company can be absurd in this deck.

I'm trying to not go older than Tarkir block, since Theros only has a couple months left. I thought about High Sentinels of Arashin, but this deck tends to get out a few powerful creatures rather than a lot of creatures, and I didn't think it would end up being worth a slot. I will play with it though. Collected Company and I have a love/hate relationship. I feel like it SHOULD be awesome in this deck, but too often I have dropped Scale Blessing and/or Hardened Scales to the bottom of the deck with it and not gotten any or only one creature out of it. It always gets suggested though lol.

Take a look at Hangarback Walker. Very hard to deal with. Also, Citadel Siege could be a good addition. Solidarity of Heroes. Doubling counters and activating heroic? Seems good.

I have Citadel Siege in my maybeboard because I'm not sure about another enchantment, but I'll do more testing. Solidarity of Heroes would be awesome I think. I don't have any heroic in here, but doubling counters could be really powerful in this deck. I am also very intrigued by Hangarback Walker and I'll test him out. Could be very powerful.

giving creatures with counters trample

July 31, 2015 12:16 p.m.

Harbynger says... #19

So Solidarity of Heroes could be a good replacement for Feat of Resistance, and I'm still testing that. Hangarback Walker is great in this deck, but quickly takes it out of budget. I put them back into the maybeboard, but I think I may pick 4 up for this deck. Tuskguard Captain I thought of doing when I originally put this together, but I didn't want to much Outlast, and I think I like flying and lifelink more personally.

You should put servant scale in your deck. I think your deck will play effectively with it.

Snare15 - Servant of the Scale is already in the deck. Did you mean something different?

I've been testing a similar build using Hangarback Walker and Scourge of Skola Vale. The Scourge lets you pop the Walker at instant speed and pumps himself with trample. Life's Legacy has performed well also. Card draw in g/w? Yes please

Harbynger says... #24

Fungreatmario - I thought of doing Den Protector, but usually don't NEED to pull creatures from the graveyard, and at $7 each would take it out of the budget I was hoping to hit with this deck.

Tjbeagle18 - I have Hangarback Walker in my maybeboard right now. It performed VERY well in my tests, but at $12 each, they would cost more than the deck itself to get more than 2 lol. I'm also staying away from Theros block because it drops October 2nd. I currently use Inspiring Call for drawing, and at the same time it lets me attack or block with creatures I normally wouldn't because they gain indestructible. Scourge of Skola Vale would be very nice here though if I wasn't against Theros :)

I was lucky enough to pull Nissa, Vastwood Seer  Flip recently in a draft. I added her to this deck along with a Citadel Castellan, and both are pretty good in this deck I think.
