Sideboard

I've been doing very well in FNM with this deck, decided that I would go ahead and post it here. It follows my trend of humans oriented, but I finally forced myself to remove the blue and just go green white. Same principle as most human decks. Try to lead off with Champion and make him into a huge beat stick. Precinct Captain is phenomenal with Rancor, ridiculously good, even more so with Unflinching Courage. Boros Elite performs very well with it's battalion, he becomes a threat worthy of removal if they can't burn your champion. Loxodon Smiter is a great card for his cost, and slapping Rancor or Unflinching Courage onto him can quickly end a game or put you far out of burn reach.

I've been playing with this deck before I posted it here for about 2 weeks, and I'm very pleased with the results and I'll post them here.

Week 1 ------------------

2-0 First round was a match up vs R/W Boros aggro. He couldn't keep up with my low-cost drops that got bigger as the turns went by, using up burn spells left and right to try and keep my board clear. A Precinct Captain with Rancor and Unflinching Courage did him in, unable to burn it down when I bumped it up with Selesnya Charm for the win. The next round a very good hand set up paved the way to victory with 2 Lands, Champion, Boros Elite, Mayor, Rancor and an Unflinching Courage. He pillared my mayor and Boros Elite, but by then the counters had been placed and Champion was romping 7/3 with lifelink and trample. One double block later with two Ash Zealots, and a suprise Selesnya Charm and his board was empty and the game was over.

2-0 Second round was against R/W/G playing Doomed Travel, Infernal Plunge, and Thundermaw Hellkite. It was a rough round with quick Boros Reckoners, and turn 3 Thundermaw Hellkites, but Selesnya Charm was an excellent way to deal with the suprise Thundermaws, and Fiend Hunter took care of the Boros Reckoner, using a giant growth to prevent him from burning the hunter down. Precinct Captain stepped on Ash Zealot with a Rancor followed up by a Selesnya Charm +2/+2 to take the Ash Zealot out.
