so this being a Kaledesh deck, Display of Dominance Dragon Hunter and Hallowed Moonlight will rotate, what are you decisions for when those rotate? I would think 2 Selfless Spirit and 2 Archangel Avacyn Flip may be a good sideboard option. as well as Eerie Interlude

Elshinare I submitted the deck before I had a complete sideboard but I came up with a few ideas. I added 2x Archangel Avacyn Flip like you suggested. With Fevered Visions and artifacts on the rise there will definitely need to be some removal for them so I added 3x Appetite for the Unnatural. Quarantine Field deals with annoying Planeswalkers. I obviously still have a lot of testing to do before this deck is complete.

With kaladesh, how about sideboarding a few Authority of Consuls to slow down opponents? It can also work well against flash spirits as (at least when i play them) i like to surprise flash them as blockers sometimes. Also, i think Fragmentize is good anti artifact/enchantment for 1 mana.

RyuujiTakasu Yeah there's a lot of good choices for sideboard. Unfortunately I can only choose 15 cards. I still have to make sure the mainboard works like it's supposed to after cutting a few key cards. I'm just waiting for full list of Kaladesh to drop before I do some testing.

tridentseven693 nice deck, gonna try this out for FNM. But why Archangel Avacyn Flip is not in mainboard?

superkiev Thanks for the upvote! To answer your question, I really don't know to be honest. I've had people tell me to put her main and others tell me she's good sideboard. I'm always afraid of it flipping and wiping my board, but it is a real threat. I'm still playtesting with the newer cards so I'll try some things.

Id switch Lone Rider Flip for Lambholt Pacifist Flip both cards need a bit of support, but the pacifist needs less, also obligatory Smuggler's Copter suggestion

Any room for collective effort in this deck. I know it is slow but I've been dying to figure out a way for it to be used

Denthrass When I first started this deck I ran a playset of Lambholt Pacifist Flip. I later cut it down to 3 copies but had to cut them all because they didn't really do anything. As for Smuggler's Copter I wanted to keep it strictly humans.

I feel like Expedition Envoy would be better than Sigarda, Heron's Grace and Duskwatch Recruiter Flip. It is super aggressive and wins games faster than any of the other two do.

Laszlokh the deck is mid-range not so much an aggro selesnya humans.
tridentseven693 This deck is an amazing deck, one of my mates plays a similar deck and I would love to play it. Its a fun deck and not overly expensive for some decent competitive matches. +1 from me.

FxZIONZ Thank You for the kind words and the upvote! Much appreciated. You are correct, this deck can run with the competitive bunch. It kinda stutter steps against control, but Thalia, Heretic Cathar really helps there.
October 25, 2016 2:56 p.m.
I'm pretty sure, because of the average cmc of the deck, it would qualify as aggro. If it is meant to be more midrangey, than consider losing the inspector as it offers little benefit in a long game.

Even if this deck is more of a midrange shell, you couldn't find a better 1 drop than the Thraben Inspector. It comes in as a 1/2 with a clue and can profitably block i.e. trade with any 1 mana 2/1 creature in an aggro deck, or force an opponent to use a pump spell to kill it. Either way the value is there.
I still feel like 22 lands will prohibit you from casting an Avacyn on curve. I don't know what your local meta is like but I had to add 4 Inspectors and more removal to combat and survive against these aggressive decks running Copter. The trick is getting to the late game where your tribal synergy and large creature count can start putting in work.

I like the deck, +1. Any results you can write about tho? What matchups have felt good/bad?

bigpappyj Thanks for upvote! I didn't end up going to Gameday as planned but I have tested the deck against various decks and have had success. I played against LOTS of energy decks. G/R aggro energy was easy to handle. It's basically a race to build a bigger board. Other decks were W/R vehicles. Sideboard was great in this match up because I have lots of artifact destruction. Grixis Control was a tough matchup, but Thalia, Heretic Cathar shined putting control a turn behind on mana. Lastly, I played the ever so popular Aetherworks Marvel decks. Now these weren't really too easy but not difficult either. Artifact hate against them were great! What was even better were Declaration in Stone and Stasis Snare, cards that exile instead of destroy to get rid of Ulamog and Emrakul which were the major threats. That's all I got so far.

tridentseven693 would 4 Gideons be any good in this deck ? And if so what would you swap out to have them in thanks !

Suhbruh Gideon's would be great in the sideboard against control. They don't really have ways to get rid of planeswalkers. I don't have them for they are really expensive, at least for me. To include 4 in the sideboard I would take out a Thalia, Heretic Cathar, the 2 Skywhaler's Shot and the Quarantine Field. Gideon's token making ability is nice but his plus ability makes him a human and he will retain any counters put on him from Lieutenant.

Collective Effort is a bit better than Blessed Alliance imho.

Effort doesn't see play cuz it's a sorcery. And few enchantments need to be destroyed. And Always Watching is more effective on the curve. Blessed Alliance activates Lone Rider Flip for fun smash damage.
But Effort might see some play next set.
Humans need more 1CC and 2CC creatures. But the deck still looks sweet.

I'm a little confused as to why you aren't using Selfless Spirit in this deck. No, it's not a human, but it is a 2/1 in the air that can protect your ever expanding board from wipes. And if push comes to shove, you could even use it it flip Archangel Avacyn Flip. Also, it may be worth running a Sigarda, Heron's Grace to protect your large creatures from kill spells as well as creating humans.

Ajuntoson I have used Sigarda, Heron's Grace in the past and she didn't perform well since she doesn't have hexproof herself. On turn 5 I'd rather slam an Archangel Avacyn Flip instead. As for Selfless Spirit, I haven't tried using it yet. There's lots of good cards but I'm only limited to 60 so it's hard to choose.

Thought about Naya? Seen Kari Zev, Skyship Raider Would be an excellent addition here. Maybe more so cuz Copter's banned and some ongoing value would be great. The mana would be demanding. Thought of it because of Inspiring Vantage and even Needle Spires.
Of course, I'm sure Stasis Snare would have to go. Harnessed Lightning or more Declarations?
Renegade Rallier SB? I'm seeing control being more difficult now for humans.
Anyways I'd stick with G/W and pop in Gideon or even Nissa and adjust the curve a bit.
tridentseven693 says... #1
Correct, this deck is more midrange. I did like the addition of red, but I always disliked playing 3 colors. Doesn't look like Kaladesh is giving this deck much support so I may have to consider my options. I was also thinking splashing black for removal and Deathcap Cultivator. I'll get to enjoy this deck 1 more time before rotation at next week's FNM so I'll consider my options then. I still appreciate all the comments and upvotes!
