So this deck was designed to slam the board quickly with value creatures, from which you can then blink with Restoration Angel for more value.
Mana dorks on turn 1, Noble Hierarch and Birds of Paradise, enable you to cast Loxodon Smiter, Blade Splicer, and Knight of the Reliquary on turn 2.
Voice of Resurgence is just a solid card against control, and if it dies, you can have a pretty huge token when you have creatures such as Blade Splicer dropping an extra creature beside her.
Scavenging Ooze is great against dredge and decks that like to utilize the yard, while also gaining you life and a big body.
Knight of the Reliquary is a two of in this deck because he gets value from your fetches and thins your deck out. It was either him or Flickerwisp. I'm still debating which to use. I understand Flickerwisp gets you more value from your ETB creatures, but is also weak to cast on turn 2 alone by itself.
Path to Exile I have 4 copies of for creatures I need to get rid of on the spot.

is rotating from standard soon, and I want to give him the transition to modern that he deserves. I know, I know. There are a lot of haters regarding the Thrag daddy, but he's way too good of a creature to not try and let him shine.
For my sideboard, I included 2 Qasali Pridemage for pod/affinity decks. Acidic Slime can help against those decks as well, but is also decent against control decks, tron, and Scapeshift match ups. Kitchen Finks is for red burn or aggro match ups, while Aven Mindsencor and Thalia, Guardian of Thraben are for control match ups. Finally, one copy of Kitaki, War's Wage for affinity.
