I want to break enchantress in modern, and I am almost certain it can be done. For a while now, mono white and green white variations of the deck have been floating around with Ghostly Prison and Sphere of Safety . Look at T1Glistener Elf on youtube if you are interested in this concept. More recently, Esper Solemnity lists have been flying around with Zur the Enchanter and Phyrexian Unlife . The oldest modern list I can think of with this kind of gameplan is Troll Worship, which utilizes hexproof creatures with regenerate and Worship . What I have realized is that up until now, these independent locks have been treated as seperate engines. Despite this, all of them fit into a GW shell with a heavy ramp and enchantress based engine. Yes, we have to sacrifice our Zur, but the independent locks all utilize extremely powerful combos who's pieces are powerful within an enchantress shell. Please help me find the combo that in some way breaks this, and combines these similar decks.

The current list is a rough cut of all the cards that seem at all relevant to the game plan. It was basically formed by pasting the Solemnity combo and the troll worship combo onto this setup. I have scaled back the trolls in troll worship as Starfield of Nyx can function similarly, particularly with Greater Auramancy .

Please help me cut cards. This obviously should be 60 cards, but I don't know what the ratios for this kind of deck should be.

Pithing Needle is in the maybe board thanks to a certain recent unbanning...
