I was gutted over the realisation that my current Deck and ideas would become obsolete in October due to my favourite cards from the Scars of Mirrodin Block and M12 Set rolling out of legality. I wanted to remain hopeful that i would have a new Deck ready for Standard but instead of crossing my fingers and waiting i decided to do something about it using the current information available. Thus, an alternate G/W Tokens was born.

This is based on the cards that were:

• Released in the Innistrad Block.
• Spoiled/confirmed to return in M13.
• Speculated to return in M13 or Return to Ravnica.

The beauty of this Deck is that it's easy to edit if you wish to put in some cards from the Scars of Mirrodin Block or M12 Set while they are still legal. For example, if you prefer smaller buffs sooner instead of larger buffs later then you could -1 Cathars' Crusade and -1 Mikaeus, the Lunarch to make room for +2 Honor of the Pure. You could also make room for a few Hero of Bladehold. Let's not forget the Planeswalker Elspeth Tirel whom is arguably a better substitute for Increasing Devotion. Instead of Temple Garden which is not yet available, use Razorverge Thicket. It's quite easy to alter it as you see fit.
