With spiders on the ground early quickly ramping into hydras and other insanity, Gyrus n Frens promises to be a fun slammer. It puts a lot of +1/+1 counters on creatures once it starts up, and has just enough removal to throw small wrenches into big engines. It's far from meta, but I find it to be an absolute blast to play every time.
