Putting one extra counter on a creature when it's being given 7 counters already seems a bit redundant. Later in the game i'm normally adding 200+ counters at a time in which case its definately redundant. Thanks for the suggestions though.

+1 nice, great deck, if I may ask, what can you say about replacing all behemoth sledge with x3 Rancor plus x1 Unflinching Courage, I think the manacost to cast and equip the sledge slows down this deck and the lifegain from this will be compensated by other lifegain mechanism from your deck, IMO what's really needed from sledge is the trample ability to swing your monstrous ageless entity or voracious wurm

Since I fell in love with this deck when I saw it, I made a budget version of it: Imminent Immortality. Still need to playtest it though. +1 for your deck!

@nutzbox, I went for the sledge due to the fact if I don't hit Alpha Authority or Sheltering Word then the creatures in this deck are prone to removal. If they die I loose the trample and lifegain option which is vital, so equipment is useful to re-equip in this scenario. The lifegain option is most definitely required from the sledge as well as the trample as it serves to pump creatures with Sunbond or Ageless Entity.
@Eurydice, cool, I'll check it out.

Not as fast as I thought it could be playtesting it but wtf! Lifegain is ridciulous and the creatures get so fat it is nuts! +1 from me as it is very intersting and pretty original. I see a lot of board wipes and mass enchantment removal in my local modern meta so I am not sure the deck would survice as is. Still a thumbs up! Great job man.

Have you considered Spirit Loop? It stacks on lifelink since it is a separate ability and it comes back to your hand ala Rancor

Spike Feeder goes infinite with Sunbond by turn 4 or with Archangel of Thune by turn 5

I'm trying to stay away from infinite combo's these days. I find they make games a bit boring if you can hit them consistently.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

Amazing deck I love it! I'm a huge fan of massive creatures and modern decks.

I love this deck! I ran a similar one except I threw in some Goldenglow Moths and attached Spirit Mantles to them for the lols. The only thing I would suggest is maybe add some Shamanic Revelations to help draw more cards. It has a CMC of 5 (not cheap) but it's helped me a lot lately.

I don't know if this card would provide much draw in this deck. Normally I only have 2 or 3 creatures out at max, so 5 mana is quite steep for only a few cards in the late game. Thanks for the suggestion and +1 though.

Hey I played with this in modern and you need removal. I played against this combo deck that makes basically as many tokens as you want. Path to Exile would be good for a sideboard, great deck!

Hi!
I've been putting this deck together from my collection over the last few days to eventually play at FNM. I was wondering if you ever want for a Predator's Rapport to start things going when you only run three. I have three in my main right now with one in my sideboard, but it seems like this is a critical component to the deck. Here is what I have so far (below).
I am pretty sure that I could run the 4th one and both Behemoth Sledges right out of the gate as that will only take me to 63 cards, but I'd like to keep it as trim as possible.

Heroes' Reunion and Voracious Wurm are the real key's to this deck. They provide a large enough creature early game to make the rest of the life gain combo's work, especially with Wall of Reverence. I've often found I'm using Sheltering Word as opposed to Predator's Rapport due to the protection it provides when running up against removal decks.
If you're looking to run a lean deck I'd drop Ajani. He's only in there cos of the -8 gimmic, although the drawing a creature or aura ability has come in handy once or twice.

I kind of kept Ajani in there so I would have something to pull for my sideboarding in game 2. Besides, the art on the card is beautiful :)

Indeed, as soon as I drew mine at a draft it went straight in this deck for that alone, lol.

As someone who regularly plays Selesnya, I must tell you that you, sir, are amazing. Seriously, I just playtested this deck and it was fantastic! Really love the design, and I think I might have to build this, or something similar. Well done. :)

Yeah, I've had Armadillo Cloak suggested before but I would like to keep this deck modern. Thanks for the suggestion though.
