I think they'd fit better in a zombie token deck as endless ranks would put out the creatures you'd want to sacrifice for grimgrin. This deck's focus is more around graveyard retrieval and each zombie pumping each other zombie. They'd also push the mana curve dangerously high with what I'd consider dropping to fit them in. Thanks for the suggestions though.

There's this instant card... i forgot what it's called... but it's really cheap and gives your creature deathtouch and makes an opponent block it with a creature. it also has flashback for green mana. would be great with Dread Slaver . i really wish i could remember the name of the card

+1 Very nice Zombie tribal! I like the graveyard-centric approach here, it's so flavorful! The only card I can think of that might have some utility would be Gravecrawler as it would be an extra body that wouldn't be dependant on your Lich to bring back. That being said, I'm sure your deck works well without, so perhaps it's not strictly necessary. If you have the time, take a peek at my Zombie tribal deck: And when the Dead walk... I'd love some feedback from another undead afficianado.

Yeah, Gravecrawler doesn't really offer any benefit other than the cast from graveyard ability. However with Mulch and Tracker's Instincts I normally get the land and creatures I need to get it going. Will check you deck out, thanks for the suggestion.

wow, loving this +1 coming... I currently don't have any suggestions, it looks like it might work .... other than 11 more in the sideboard.... gonna think about this one though. even might build it with the stuff I do have...
do you mind if I copied that Disclaimer? I have a Magic gift box, box with like 15-18 decks in it... feeling the same as you wrote there.
hopefully suggestions coming.

Necromancer's Stockpile; so many possibilities with this guy..... but I don't know what you get rid of.

I'm trying to avoid zombie tokens as that seems to be the more common zombie deck on tappedOut. I did have Undead Warchief, Death Baron and Lord of the Undead in here at one point but my budget put pay to them.
Feel free to copy the disclaimer, and thanks for the suggestions and +1.

Really love this deck. I'm new to modern so i have a couple of questions.- Don't you think that the lands could be changed a bit, I personally don't like the ones where you Really love this deck. I'm new to modern so i have a couple of questions.- Don't you think that the lands could be changed a bit, I personally don't like the ones where you have to return a land.- How should the first few turns go (with a decent hand)- Any cards good to sideboard? You only have 4 for now.

I run bounce lands as I only play casually. They're effectively like having a 28 land card deck for the cost if 24 cards.
First few turns I normally like to use Tracker's Instincts or Mulch to ensure I can consistently play lands for at least 5 turns and to get a Havengul Lich into my hand. Any expensive zombies and Deadly Allure can be put in the graveyard for later if I have to discard. Diregraf Captain is useful on turn 3 as deathtouch puts opponents off attacking. If I've not drawn a Rooftop Storm and one is in the graveyard then Nyx Weaver is the next mousy important creature to have out to go and retrieve it. Turn 6 is crucial to this deck when I can get Rooftop Storm on the board, preferably with Havengul Lich on turn 5. Turn 7 sees me flood the board with zombies for the win on turn 8 or shortly after.
Not sure about the sideboard yet.

Only thing I might consider here is swapping in four Leechridden Swamps and replacing your Dimir Aqueducts with more Jwar Isle Refuges

This is a really cool take on zombies that is a little different than most. Something that could be some food for thought is a possible addition of 1 or 2 Call to the Grave.
November 25, 2014 8:20 p.m.
@70m4h4wk, Leechridden Swamp does look interesting but i fear would slow down the deck even more. As for Dimir Aqueduct, I run this type of land as I only play casually therfore more consistent land drops are more useful than speed.
@F4Phantom, call to the grave is a nice control mechanism, however I fear the cards i'd drop to fit them in would result in the mana curve of this deck going higher than it already is. Also, by turn 5 I'd hopefully be only one or two turns away from flooding the board so call to the grave would only kill maybe two or three of my opponents creatures before the zombies did the rest.

But if you just swap out four regular Swamps for 4 Leechridden Swamps, you've got the same amount of land, no speed-change there. and having to pick up a land when you play a land is probably slowing you down more than a land that would let you deal damage if you can't do anything else. You probably know more about this than I do, though.

Leechridden Swamp comes in to play tapped, therefore can't be used that turn, as long as you return an already tapped land for a bounce land it makes no difference. I'd also have to tap two lands to deal one damage, Leechridden Swamp and another swamp so even though it might use up some spare mana every now and then the damage per cmc doesn't really make it worth it.

I think Endless Ranks of the Dead would be good in here.
