Welcome to the CONTROL side of DREDGE.
This beautiful build tries to cut the resources of our opponents while building ours.
Based around a lovely combo that will constantly kill every single non-hexproof creature its amazingly fun and competitive.

Key Combo:

Simply Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Nameless Inversion = Constant Creature Removal.
Supercharged with Crypt of Agadeem .

Analysis of the Combo:
Show

Haakon, Stromgald Scourge allows us to cast Knights from the grave and Nameless Inversion IS a knight therefore at INSTANT speed we get to give something +3/-3.
If that something survives Repeat until it is dead and move to the next target.
Add Crypt of Agadeem to the mix and now you can kill even a bunch of Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger 's.

Helpful Interactions:
Show

1. Nameless Inversion gives +3 on a creature so you use it as a Buff to something that has at least 4 toughness.Currently only Lotleth Troll is able to withstand that power.
2. Nameless Inversion can be cast on a creature of our control so save it from a Path to Exile effect.
3. Nameless Inversion removes all creature types this is relevant on Merfolk Decks.
4. Nameless Inversion is going to the stack when cast and it doesn't go back to the Graveyard until it has resolved so you need more than 1 copies to kill something if an opponent has a response like giving it hexproof.
5. Darkblast can kill a 2 Toughness Creature if you Go Untap>Upkeep> Darkblast >Draw(replace with Dredge 3 to get Darkblast )> Darkblast again.

Steps to Combo off:
Show

1.Mill / Discard Haakon, Stromgald Scourge .
2.Mill / Play Nameless Inversion .
3.Tap Crypt of Agadeem + 2x Lands.
4.Cast Haakon, Stromgald Scourge from the graveyard.
5.Cast Nameless Inversion .
6.Repeat step 5. until the Board is clear and opponent loses hope.

Secondary Combos:

Ghost Quarter + Life from the Loam = Wipe Enemy's Lands.
Buried Ruin + Life from the Loam = Grab the sibeboard you dredged.

Shambling Shell + Gravecrawler = Always 1 zombie on the Field.
Life from the Loam + Raven's Crime = Wipe the Enemy's Hand.
Life from the Loam + Syphon Life = Up to 6 Lifesteal / Turn.
Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Ashes of the Fallen = Name Knights and Reanimate Everything.
Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Diregraf Colossus + Nameless Inversion = Spam 2/2 Zombie Tokens while clearing the Board.

Tron Show

You need to dredge until you find a Ghost Quarter and a Life from the Loam .This deck is the reason i mainboard 4x Ghost Quarter .if you manage to deny them the combo of 3 Tron Lands you have basically won.
Game 2: Pithing Needle and Duress in.

8rack and Mill: Show

Both of them will try to deny us resources but they end up fueling us instead. Life from the Loam will win the 8 rack game every single time and Crypt of Agadeem mill.Really easy match-ups both.Beware they both pack hate mainboard and more in the sideboard.
Game2: Duress in.

Death and Taxes: Show

This Deck is also Based on Creatures and they try to Ghost Quarter us to Death. Life from the Loam to the rescue.Sometimes you can even go the Ghost Quarter train yourself without killing Leonin Arbiter so you can win with their own strategy.REALLY FUN STUFF.
Game 2: Rest in Peace is coming get ready. Ratchet Bomb , Naturalize in.

Phoenix Variations: Show

This Deck can constantly kill Arclight Phoenix if given enough time to setup.You do need a Nameless Inversion or a Darkblast when he lands but in general is a really good match-up.
Game 2: Nihil Spellbomb in.

Any Form of Hard Control: Show

Rotting Rats is fueling us while slowing them.They will try to counterspel everything and they will fail.About 80% of this deck is reusable from the graveyard.Also Rotting Rats have activate ability so good luck keeping them down.It is amazing how many times these rats won by that 1 point of damage.
Game 2: Rest in Peace is coming get ready. Ratchet Bomb , Naturalize in.

All Tribal,Soul Sisters and Infect: Show

Basically any Deck that relies heavy on creatures is an easy match-up for this deck.
If you start with Darkblast in hand it is usually gg for them.
There are few Tribal Decks that are hard for this deck analyzed better below.
Game 2:Beware the Graveyard Hate. Ratchet Bomb in.

Lucky Territory:

Burn: Show

The only defense against Burn is a single copy of Syphon Life so things are not the easy for us.We need to empty their hand on the graveyard and not on us. Rotting Rats and Miasmic Mummy are greatly needed. Every 3 damage avoided is a step closer to Win.
Game 2:They will not waste slots for graveyard hate since they will see how slow we are. Duress in.

Affinity: Show

Too fast too soon is the name of the game. You really really really need to plan what to kill but if you land the combo it is gg for them.
Ghost Quarter is there if they try to win through infect.
Game 2:Graveyard Hate is coming. Ratchet Bomb and Naturalize in.

Merfolk: Show

This tribal tends to be really explosive but the problem is at the 4x Spreading Seas mainboard.
You might need to Ghost Quarter yourself to stop them from attacking with Islandwalk.
Game 2:They will rarely pack any Graveyard Hate.Rachet Bomb in.

Junk-Jund: Show

The only things that can put a fight are Scavenging Ooze and a huge Tarmogoyf turn 2.Other than that their Duress effect actually help us.We can deprive them of recourses with Rotting Rats and in general put a great fight.Just be careful not to mill too much before the Tarmogoyf lands,kill Scavenging Ooze ON SIGHT and be careful to protect Haakon from Path to Exile .
Game 2:The Scavenging Ooze will bring friends. Naturalize , Ratchet Bomb and Pithing Needle in.

Eldrazi and Zoo: Show

It really comes down to how fast you can assemble the combo with Crypt of Agadeem to stabilize before being overrun.This deck was originally created throught the Eldrazi Winter so it does have the potential to beat it.
Ghost Quarter and Syphon Life are really helpful here.
Game 2:Eldrazi are packing graveyard hate. Ratchet Bomb in.

Dredge and Hollow One Show

Be carefull you don't overcharge them with your Rotting Rats effects.You need time to setup and dropping everything turn 2 is impossible to deal with.
Game 2: Nihil Spellbomb for Dredge and Naturalize for Hollow One in.

Mission Impossible:

Boggles: Show

Hexproof versus half our deck.Really hard to beat game 1.We might stabilize with Syphon Life but in general its an auto lose game 1.
Game 2: Naturalize , Duress , Ratchet Bomb in.

Any Non-Creature Combo: Show

Scapeshift,Ad Nauseum,Storm,Goyo's Vengeance,Through the Breach,Extra Turns,Turbo Fog and the now banned KCI are impossible to beat.We want creature interaction and they offer none.Even sideboard the chances of winning are really low because half our dekc is guttered and we are not aggro enough to win through pure damage.Really really hard match-ups.

Basically the heavy money spenders of the deck are Life from the Loam and Gravecrawler .
You could try the Haakon, Stromgald Scourge + Ashes of the Fallen route and swap Life from the Loam for Groundskeeper .
