This is a pretty versatile deck that adapts well to whatever you're up against before sideboards even come into play. It's aggro enough to put control/tempo decks under early pressure, and can out-race and out-sustain aggro decks thanks to all of the removal and lifegain the deck possesses. The deck can be overrun by zoo decks, particularly ones supported by any of the bigtime planeswalkers, hence the To the Slaughter's in the sideboard.
